El barco permanecerá allí durante 1 hora y 15 minutos y si quieres puedes seguir el pequeño sendero para llegar a la cima donde se encuentran los cráteres activos. Allí puedes tomar fotografías, ver las rocas aún humeando y donde huele fuertemente a azufre.
Después de regresar al barco, partiremos hacia la isla de Palaia Kameni, donde se encuentran las aguas termales, los famosos baños de barro naturales, que se crearon después de las erupciones volcánicas. En la pequeña bahía de San Nicolás la temperatura del agua varía entre 30 y 35 grados centígrados, ya que se mezcla constantemente con el agua de mar normal. El barco permanece aquí unos 30 minutos y tendrás la oportunidad de nadar. Es bastante tiempo ya que no hay playa pero hay que bajar las escaleras del barco. Hay que nadar unos 30 metros hasta el interior de la pequeña bahía de las Termas.

It was pleasant being on the water and getting a sea view of the beautiful Santorini Coast. The ship was comfortable and had plenty of shade. Based on the previous reviews we did not go in the water at the hot springs nor did we walk to the volcano.

A lovely day overall! Just to give a heads up on a couple of things though-the boat leaves from Fira OLD PORT. This means u can only get there by cable car (there may be a line), donkeys or the pathway that is 900 steps going down. Also bring shoes appropriate for hiking the trail at the volcano ex sneakers-there is loose rocks and it can be slippery. We had a wonderful time though-a unique experience!

Reservation for an excursion with a French-speaking guide. The guide only spoke English and was quite indifferent.

Unfortunately, on that specific day, our French-speaking guide was ill with pneumonia. In our effort to avoid canceling your excursion at the last minute, we sent a replacement guide who did not speak French well. We appreciate your understanding regarding this unexpected situation.
Overall, a very nice tour that is worth it; the staff is super nice and friendly. However, the advertisement states a maximum of. 50 people, and there were 130 on board. I generally find that unacceptable and it feels like a scam.

Beautiful excursion, pity it is not offered in French, yet selected during my booking. The water was cold, so no swimming.

As for the water temperature, the Hot Springs are naturally mixed with the sea. Therefore, the warmth depends significantly on the sea temperature and the weather conditions at the time. This was a great experience. We enjoyed this excursion. Although the swim to the hot springs was a bit chilly (we went in April) it was still fun. Don't wear a white swimsuit though as the sulfur in the water will turn it orange/brown. The volcano was interesting and our guide was great. I think he also spoke 10 different languages fairly well. Well done!
