Other travelers should know that this is an intentional misleading header !!! This is not an entrance ticket at all!!! We were there and presented it and they were laughing at us !! So don’t waste your money in such a thing !! And on top!!! The entrance for kids up to 17 years of age is FREE !!! Only adults have to pay !!

Booking an attraction through Viator is the absolute worst decision! Booked and paid for a tour of Neuschwanstein Castle via Viator! However, I could not receive the tickets because the registration with Viator did not work, and then the tickets were already all sold out!

Please note that this is a self-guided tour, A Self Guided Walk from Hohenschwangau to Neuschwanstein Castle and not an entry ticket to Neuschwanstein Castle, as we clearly explain in the tour description. If you're looking for an entry ticket, please go to the Neuschwanstein Castle website. Again, I'm sorry about the poor experience you had.
Terrible, no French with the tools, it is incomprehensible. This is organized theft compared to a ticket costing 23€.

I did not get clear instructions on where to get tickets or how to join a group.. just unclear. Bought tickets at site so these tickets were not even used.

I can definitely recommend this tour, it is easy to follow, interesting, and you can do it whenever you want, so it is perfect for a short stay with limited time. You get a lot of information and all the flexibility you need. The storyteller is also very engaging and easy to follow.
The VoiceMap tour of Neuschwanstein is a fantastic companion to have along the way to the castle. I found it both informative and engaging, in addition, the language was well and easily accessible. It was useful with a historic background as I walked at my own pace up towards the castle.

This was a nice alternative to an expensive guided tour. We got all of the history and information we wanted and were able to walk at our own pace, no running after a tour guide!
