The overall experience was very good, from the pickup and transportation to the tour itself. The ride was air-conditioned and comfortable, and Andy was very hospitable, making sure we had water throughout the trip. The tour guides were extremely informative, entertaining, and funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They did a great job keeping everyone engaged while also teaching us about the area. Also, make sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes. I made the rookie mistake of not bringing them, so now you’re ahead of the game! Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this tour!

Overall great experience minus the initial wait as there were a number of groups trying to get in at the same time so there was some type of numbering or ticketing system. Hike was slightly challenging for those who might not be in shape, but my teenage girls did it no problem. The initial slide is a little disorienting because you have no idea where you're going to end up but after that it was incredibly fun. The lunch was an open buffet minus drinks but was decent.

Our Damajagua Waterfalls experience was awesome! Airbel was our tour guide, and he was funny, entertaining, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The waterfalls were beautiful, and the water was incredibly refreshing. We also enjoyed a delicious traditional meal. As a bonus, Airbel kindly took us to see the squirrel monkeys so we could take pictures with them for free, even though we didn't have tickets. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Puerto Plata!

Tremendous excursion, especially for the price. Aribel was a GREAT driver. Couldn't have made us feel any more welcome right from the beginning. There were a bunch of guides on the waterfall tour but in charge of us us was Tequila, who was also assigned to take pictures of our group. He was great too. Walk was moderately difficult because of heat and 100% uphill, but nothing a late-50 couple could not handle. 35-40 minutes total including 3-4 breaks. Water bottle provided. They made sure to ask frequently if all were okay. 95% of walk is through tree-shaded forest, which mitigates heat a bit. Once to top,, we descended 4 waterfalls. Wife and son jumped the two falls with with jumps (two were slide only), otherwise you slide. A bit bumpy going down but you're in the water soon. Do exactly as they i struct you. Worst part for non-thrill seekers is the anticipation. Except for one waterfall where there is a ladder, you must jump or slide. So no turning back once you reach top. But so glad I did it! Can't believe I did it!!! Life jacket and helmet are required for a reason. I am not a swimmer, told them ahead of time, and there was a great kid assigned to me as soon as I hit the water each time. Had a life jacket but that was extra assurance so I did not panic. Shout out to him. DEFINITELY get the picture package. They take a million and give it to you on a flash drive. No way you can take a cell phone, but there are lockers. 20 minute walk once you are out of water, that was a surprise to me baded on reviews I read. Lunch on way home was solid, but probably unnecessary, as we were heading back to a feeding frenzy on our cruise. But a nice touch getting to sit in s real Dominican restaurant.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience on the 7 Waterfalls tour! Our guide, Aribel, did a fantastic job leading the group. He was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time. The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful and so much fun! Jumping and sliding into the cool water was exciting and the perfect reward after the short hike up. Every stop was an adventure. The local lunch afterward was delicious. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. It was a great way to experience authentic local food. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Plata.

This is an awesome deal. Same thing you can get through the cruise at a fraction of the price. Waterfalls are beautiful and you can walk through beautiful stretches of water with cliffs on either side of you. Many opportunities to take your own photos. Lunch was so tasty, and communication from the company was great. We booked only a few days out and didn’t have internet on the ship, so we were a little worried about knowing where to go and when. But the info they messaged was super easy to follow and they accommodated the ship pull in time with no problem. Highly recommend

If you’re thinking about doing the falls in DR — stop thinking and go. Our driver was that perfect level of friendly where you’re like, “Okay cool, he’s not trying to adopt me,” but also “Thank God he drives like a man who values my continued existence.” He got us there safely, which already felt like a spiritual victory. Vehicle has AC. We were with 4 other people and we exchanged stories about us living in Toronto and them from Miami. We saw a bigger truck with people, and I'm like nope! We did goooood! Gave us water and we didn't need to spend money for a locker as we were able to keep our stuff in the vehicle. Then the falls guides? Straight-up comedians. These guys had jokes READY. They were chill, hilarious, and somehow convinced me that jumping off cliffs was a normal activity. The jumps were definitely higher than advertised — I swear they grow when you stare at them — but once you leap, you feel unstoppable. Like “I could fight a crocodile right now.” hike part was a bit harder than I thought but the guides said it was 5 minutes -dominican 5 minutes. There are areas to sit and relax. Even saw a donkey which low-key wish he took me up the hill. And THEN… the lunch. Listen. I was not prepared. They served traditional Dominican food that tasted like it was blessed by angels. The meat tasted like peameal bacon (or Canadian back bacon for my American folks), the fried chicken was so good it could put KFC into early retirement, the salad was fresh, and the white and brown rice were perfection. I could eat that meal every single day and live my best life. Only downside? Not long enough 😄 I needed more jumps, more jokes, and definitely more chicken! I highly recommend this!

A super fun experience! Make sure that you can hike uphill on uneven terrain for 45 minutes before you reach the set of 7 falls. The sliding down the falls part was SUPER fun! The water is very cold and it was scary at times but a safe experience! Returning to the starting point involves about 15-20 minutes of hiking down combined with walking on uneven river rocks. Just make sure you're propelry prepared with water shoes that have a good sole and you'll have an amazing day!

The hike is no joke! I’m 47 years old and do some hiking but this kicked my butt. It was well worth it though. Our guides were awesome and Sandy did pictures for us that absolutely captured the joy on all 4 kids (adult kids and an 11 year old) faces! That was worth the extra $55 cost. My husband lost his Apple Watch on one of the jumps and a guide dove down to find it! He went above and beyond! This tour was one of the highlights of our cruise this year.

This experience is worth every penny! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire thing! The taxi service is professional and incredible, they teach you what a Dominican minute is! ;) The group we hiked to the falls with was abnormally large, about 96 people, the guides mentioned that a normal size is 30-40. The falls are incredible, and you practically swim to each one. My wife and I are pretty able and the hike was moderate in intensity. We made a friend on the hike who had knee surgery a year ago, and she did all of it really well! The food afterwards was delicious and made you feel like you were a part of the locals for a day. We would definitely go again!
