El Iquitos Jungle Trip Premium Lodge es la mejor opción para los viajeros que quieren adentrarse en la selva amazónica sin renunciar a la comodidad. Te alojarás en un eco lodge ubicado en la Reserva Comunal Yanamono, a 80 km (50 millas) de la ciudad de Iquitos. Un lugar paradisíaco para descansar en total armonía con la naturaleza. Las habitaciones están construidas en un estilo rústico, con techos altos, ventanas panorámicas, baño privado, terraza con hamaca y mecedoras. También tienen ventiladores de techo y mosquiteros. Las actividades incluidas en el tour se realizan en grupo reducido (12 viajeros) con un guía profesional, perfecto para conocer a otros viajeros pero sin alterar el entorno.

My experience was catastrophic. I will keep a very bad memory of a very bad memory. The hotel was excellent and the meals were too. The activities always started late by 30 minutes or more, the guide let everything happen, and the activities were poorly done and incomplete. There were 8 of us on the first day, and one person changed groups because he was too unruly. I wanted to change groups, but it was impossible. I had to endure this misadventure for three days. It was my death. I wanted to leave on the second day to return to Iquitos. The other guide saw my misadventure and my suffering and found it funny but could do nothing. He saw everything. The staff is not attentive to the clients and they only do the minimum. The activities or expedition consisted of going around the hotel. We had a boat outing at sunset, and we left just as the sun was setting, causing delays and the guide's indiscipline.

My experience was horrible. This is a very bad memory. The shipments were always at least 30 minutes late, and we could not do all the activities properly. It was like that for three days. I was looking forward to the ordeal ending. Our guide did nothing. He let everything go. The other guides watched this and thought it was pathetic. The hotel and meals are 5 stars, and the rest of the trip and activities are 0, and that is the main issue. From our initial group of 8, one person left for another group on the first day. I wish I could also change groups and guides to have a better experience, but that seemed impossible for the guide. Do not take this expedition; you would be much better off booking activities from Iquitos instead of doing practically uninteresting activities in the hotel garden or nearby. It is truly disappointing. A bad memory that I will keep for my entire life from this expedition to Iquitos. I told my guide to inform him of what he had put me through throughout the stay.

We had the most amazing time at the Heliconia lodge. Everything was PERFECT. Our guide, Manuel, was awesome. Every activity was well thought out and planned perfectly. The food was AMAZING. I would definitely book this again. Worth every penny.

Extremely well organised and good choice of things to do. Excellent introduction to the Amazon. Our guide was very informative. The lodge benefited greatly by swimming pool. The visit to Monkey island is not to be missed.

Freddie was amazing! You are so lucky if you get him as a tour guide. He was so fun, and informative. As an English speaker if he said something a little off I’d tell him and he’d thank me and then he’d say it correct the rest of the trip. I think that’s really cool how much my tour guide wants to learn how to communicate better. (He is really really good at speaking English, it was one of those things where I thought it was special how much he wanted to learn more). He also remembers personal things ya tell him about your life. The entire experience felt like I made a small community very quickly and the tour guides create that fun connection really well. I highly suggest this tour even outside of Freddie, who was a highlight for me. The food is amazing, the tours live up to what they are selling you and the people are very kind. 10/10.

Unbelievable amazing experience at the lodge. We met our tour guide Adri at our hotel and he took care of getting us to the lodge and all of our tours. Adri was extremely knowledgeable of the Amazon, professional, funny, and very helpful with all of our activities. He made our trip great. The lodge has everything you will need and every meal was delicious that we had. I will stay at the lodge again if I come back to visit Iquitos. There was so much variety in the tours and you get enough breaks in between. Be sure to have your cameras ready as you will see tons of wildlife and good luck fishing! The piranhas are quick to take your bait.
