Excellent experience, allows you to know, live and feel the interior of the jungle. It would seem that one would get lost in the middle of everything but the guides know the whole jungle by heart every tree, every animal. You really leave with the feeling of having known everything. Very friendly Logde people and 10/10 food.
Although only participate in two days and one night, but guides can help to meet the trip as much as possible according to personal preferences - great! See a lot of animals and also experience cool Amazon life! Push
We bought 3 days/ 2 nights trip, my family and friends, it was quite expensive. Adventure itself was interesting, fishing piranhas, night trip into the jungle, swimming in the Amazon river, visiting local community. Our guide was very good and nice. However there were a few negative comments from my side: The boat was old and leaking water, captain was collecting it with small bucket time by time. Our lodge room was terrible, I did not expect comfort, but not closing door due to the broken lock, torn net on the window, no protection even from spiders or monkeys, I don't even mention mosquitos. The light in the toilet did not have any switch, no way to turn it off, so it was attracting mosquitos all night long. There were 3 beds for our family, but only two nets covering beds and protecting from mosquitos, full of holes. The worst thing was that we all 5 caught some bacteria and got badly sick, with high fever, diarrhea and vomiting right after our flight to Lima from the jungle. I suspect infected drinking water that was offered in the dining place at the lodge, or food. It was not fun especially for my son 11 yo, we had to visit private hospital in Lima.
What an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Jair, was truly amazing – he knew everything about the history, the nature, and the wildlife of the Amazon. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the tour extra special. During the excursions we saw so many incredible animals: wild parrots, pink and grey river dolphins, caimans, no less than five different species of monkeys, tarantulas, frogs, and countless bird species. Every day brought new surprises and adventures, whether it was during a boat safari or a walk through the jungle. The combination of the breathtaking nature, the abundance of wildlife, and the passion of Jair made this an experience I can wholeheartedly recommend. If you’re going to Iquitos and want to explore the Amazon, this tour is an absolute must!
I had an amazing time with the Lupuna jungle tour. From swimming in the river to walking through the jungle and the meals with the group. Everything was enjoyable. Our guide, Franc was very knowledgeable and gave great explanations about the animals and plant life. He could do so many animal sounds too. Very fun! We stayed deep in the jungle in a cool Lodge. The type of experience I was hoping for. Hearing the sounds of the animals at night makes it all the better. The staff at the lodge was very friendly and accommodating. It felt like I made new friends during my time there. I highly recommend this Lupuna. If I make it back to the jungle, I will hit them up again!
Muchas gracias por su preferencia. Esperamos en un futuro su retorno y explorar nuevas rutas remotas de la selva
The tour was amazing, Frank is a very educated guide, as a local he will show you the secrets and useful tips to know about the amazon forest, what transpire is the respect of the environment and how knowledgeable he is about the plants and animals. You will see wild life such as anacondas, toucans and a whole lot of other animals that are exclusive to this part of the amazon. On your way to the lodge, you can spot pink dolphins too. Truly amazing. Ps: Bring your repellent because there are a lot of mosquitoes, even though bed are covered during the day on your excursions it is quite useful.
Nos llena de alegria saber su opinion y esperamos tener una nueva aventura con nosotros en algun momento
The experience was overall alright. Of course, the excursions and animals you'll see will vary by day and nothing is guaranteed. Our guide Jair seemed knowledgeable and answered all our questions but on the last night, he tried to have a date with me out of an outing which I was under the impression would be an educational experience since he brought it up during our afternoon excursion. During this outing, he said that this was actually his free time and that he wanted to know each other, he started off by mentioning that he was single and without compromise. It got very uncomfortable, very quick. He was trying to kiss and touch me even after I explicitly told him I was not interested. After I turned him down, he was trying to gaslight me saying that he was offended that I would think he had another intention and STILL tried to kiss me. At one point even said "what are you going to do, get off the boat?" like if I'm really going to get off the boat at night in the Amazon. I would advise single female travelers to make sure all outings are part of the program and you do it as a group with the other lodge guests. I hope the company corrects and prohibits this type of behavior. Another complaint I have is a ceremony they sell you while you're there. The "baño de renacimiento" which they explained as a herbal bath that after, they would read your aura and tell you about your future. It just seemed very generalized phrases and the lady would ask more questions than give you information. After speaking with other guests there, it seemed they told them basically the same thing so it seemed scheemy after hearing that from them. These same guests also mentioned to me that the guide Jair had told them he was married with kids after hearing from them that they were wanting to start a family. Book at your own risk.

Great guides, comfortable accommodation and nice food. Good variety of activities and close to a local village if you fancy a few jungle rums
Muchas gracias por su preferencia
My wife and I had a wonderful time on our amazon jungle tour! Our guide Frank was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we got the most out of our adventure! We got to see monkeys, tarantulas, lots of birds pink dolphins and even an alligator (just it's eyes). We did a bit of fishing and swimming as well, and would definitely recommend the experience!
I had a great experience on this tour essentially thanks to James! A local friendly, dedicated and passionated guide. I stayed for 3 days/2 nights I don’t recommend the 2 days/1night as it’s too short (you need 2h bus + 2h slow boat from Iquitos!). Food was tasty .
