The guide was informative and helpful as well as pleasant. The waterfall is quite large (main falls), but not the most picturesque; however, there are a number (5+) of other waterfalls at the base. It can get quite crowded at spots as well as at the toilets. An overcast sky will produce a better picture.
A great tour today! Our tour guide Camilla was excellent. She shared a lot of history and faces while we were on the drive. The falls were beautiful. We hiked to the top. We arrived a few minutes before the crowds so there was no lineup at the washroom. Would recommend this tour!
The waterfalls are a must see when in Iceland. Our tour guide was Sally and she was as full of great information as we had read about her! The bus was timely, we slowed to see key points of interest on the way and had time to take pictures. Walking up the waterfalls was amazing. All the vantage points were perfect for taking pictures from. We loved this trip!
We really enjoyed this trip. Great sightseeing en-route to thee waterfall then left to explore the paths to the summit independently (fairly challenging in places but worth it) or soaking up the views from the foot of the falls. Sally was a lovely guide and we enjoyed her informative commentary. Would recommend
Fantastic must do experience. The tour was lovely, informative and our guide took pictures for us at the top. Highly recommend including in Iceland.
The trip to see the falls was filled with interesting tidbits. She had a beautiful voice and made us laugh. The length at the falls was long enough for us to climb to the top and spend some space in the moments. At the end of the tour, had great information on to where to go.
It is a great half day tour. It allows time to do some other sightseeing. The waterfall is well worth the trip. If you can make it to the top it is well worth it.
Worth the triip. Definitely a ike up so wear good shoes. Has plenty of WC that are heated!! Does get very busy but 90 min is enough time.
