Los catamaranes realmente son más divertidos de navegar con las redes de proa especiales diseñadas para tomar el sol y descansar viendo la vida marina y el agua correr. Fun Cat Sailing has taken great care of my family for the past 15 years! When I needed a place to take my wife for her 60th birthday, there wasn't a second thought! Captain Ryan was so helpful, informative, kind, and skilled. If you need a special time on the water, go!
It was my first time on a catamaran and it did not disappointment. I have osteoarthritis in my knees so it really limits me on what kind of activities I can do. Kaya was our captain and she was very helpful in showing me the best and safest ways to get around the boat. I was even able to get up front on the nets which was amazing. Kaya was so friendly, professional and really helped make this 5 + star experience. Added bonus’s were the dolphins and sea-lions we saw. Thank you Fun Cat sailing adventures for a beautiful day on the bay that I will never forget.
We booked this catamaran sailing tour on San Diego Bay for the four of us and every single one of us left grinning and super happy. It was our first time really sailing the San Diego Bay and none of us had experienced anything like it. Captain Kaya killed the motors and we actually SAILED; no engine noise, just the sails catching the wind and the boat cutting silently across the bay. The wind picked up quite a bit and the cat stayed stable and smooth the entire time. We chilled in the bow nets and in the comfy seats above them, as well as around the inside of the boat where there's a nice table to sit and talk, and Captain Kaya was super knowledgeable and a great host! We saw dolphins AND sea lions, and a dolphin actually put on a small show for us and we got lucky enough to capture it. Kaya was fun, funny, welcoming, and made our whole family feel right at home. Perfect for families wanting a day on the water; book it now!
This was such a fun experience. My husband and I enjoyed chatting with Ryan and listening to his knowledge of the bay and beyond! The wind was great, so got to see the sails in full action! Thanks Ryan!
This was the best day. Captain Kaya was wonderful. The boat was super clean and comfortable. We saw dolphins right in the bay. Our girls got so many great pics. We will definitely do this again and we will request Kaya.

Had the best time sailing with Fun Cat Sailing Adventures!!! Captain Ryan was very knowledgeable about the local history and current events happening around San Diego. He is a very experienced captain and one man show. We were able to sail all over the bay and my highlights included Coronado island and watching the local fisherman reel in their catch! Would highly recommend booking a trip if you are in the area!
My group of 12 had the absolute BEST time! We wanted a fun/ relaxing MDW plan and this was exactly we were looking for! Our captain drove us around the water and was able to anchor at a swimming spot which made the experience ten times better! We’re all in our late 20s and thought this was the perfect activity to do for four hours. Drinks and boat… what more can you ask for? Also the service its self was fantastic!! Ryan and our captains Matt were super responsive and answered every question we had! I will 1000000% be booking this experience again!

Glad we could arrange a private extended sail and swim with Captain Matt on our larger catamaran for your larger private party of 12 (public sailing tours are capped at 6 passengers) ! We absolutely loved this experience with captain Ryan. They were so accommodating and amazing throughout the process. The boat was exceptional and we were able to see the entire bay and see sea lions!!! It was an exceptional price as well. Absolutely 10/10 experience!
