Este templo es absolutamente hermoso y uno de los favoritos hasta ahora en comparación con otros muchos santuarios en Japón. Hay muchos menos turistas aquí, lo que te da la oportunidad de saborear y disfrutar del entorno. También hay muchos pequeños restaurantes y lugares para comprar recuerdos. Tuvimos una caminata muy agradable para ver esto, a 25 minutos de la estación de Nagano y valió la pena la caminata. Un lugar realmente hermoso.
Monzen Terrace Enya es un excelente lugar para comer en Nagano, Japón. Un poco alejado del centro de Nagano, está sin embargo bastante cerca del templo Zenkoji y que es muy recomendable como alojamiento. La comida es una mezcla imaginativa de estilos occidental (por ejemplo, pizza y pasta) y japonés.
El Parque de Monos Jigokudani (地獄谷野猿公苑, Jigokudani Yaen Kōen) ofrece a los visitantes la experiencia única de ver monos salvajes bañándose en una fuente termal natural. Te bajas del vehículo y haces una caminata suave de 30 minutos a través de un bosque espectacular y llegas a un desfiladero. Por un costo muy razonable, ingresa al área restringida donde puede habitar y observar a los monos mientras juegan y se bañan. El parque está habitado por macacos japoneses, también conocidos como monos de nieve.

Ali was very accommodating with our group. He arranged everything for us, he got us as close to the snow monkey park as possible, and he gave us great tips for visiting the temple. Our children don’t do well with structured tours so this was perfect for us.
This private Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple tour was a great day out. Moiz was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The sake tasting was a nice bonus, and the private tour made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

The 1-Day Private Snow Monkey, Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour with Malik in November was excellent. The autumn scenery was beautiful, and Malik provided helpful guidance throughout the day. The Snow Monkey Park was memorable, Zenkoji Temple was culturally rich, and the sake tasting was a great way to end the tour. The pace was comfortable and transportation was smooth. We enjoyed our day exploring the Monkey Park. The hike through the forest was beautiful and our guide and driver (Ali and Abdul) did a great job. While we didn’t see many monkeys since it was off season, we had a great day. My advice: go at a different time of year but request Ali and Abdul to be your driver and guide!

We had an amazing time on the 1-Day Private Snow Monkey Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour! From the moment we met our guide, everything was seamless. Extremely Disappointed. "Smile" tours misrepresented what it delivers. This is a driver service only. There is no guide for the monkey park or temple. There is no sake tasting. The lunch was not good - it included the worst sushi I've ever had. This company is trying to present itself as another company that actually offers an English speaking guide to the attractions. And it takes longer than 6 hours, since they don't mention the two hour roundtrip drive to the monkey park. Our driver was a nice person but he could have spoken Japanese and it wouldn't have mattered since he barely spoke to us...
