07:15 AM: Morning - Departure: Sovaba Travel picks you up at locations such as hotels, train stations and Dong Hoi airport. For customers arriving early from the morning train and bus, we will pick you up at Sovaba Travel's office to rest and relax before departure.
08:15 AM - Departure: Depart from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, pick you up at hotels / motels and other areas in Phong Nha town. And the first trip will take you to Thien Duong Cave, one of the largest dry caves in Asia, also known as "Underground Palace".
09:00 AM – Paradise Cave Exploration • Begin your journey to Paradise Cave in Phong Nha with a scenic 1.6 km electric tram ride through lush forest, followed by a short uphill walk to the cave entrance. From a modest opening, the cave dramatically reveals a vast interior space with ceilings reaching 40–60 meters high and widths up to 120 meters. The cool, fresh air inside Paradise Cave offers a refreshing escape from the heat of Phong Nha. • Step inside Paradise Cave and follow a well-designed wooden walkway leading deep into this natural masterpiece. Soft LED lighting enhances the beauty of the cave while preserving its untouched charm. Known as the “Underground Royal Palace” of Phong Nha, the cave impresses visitors with magnificent stalactites, stalagmites, and extraordinary rock formations shaped over millions of years.
12:00: AM - Lunch Break: After visiting Paradise Cave, you will be invited to a restaurant in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park area to have lunch with local specialties, in a peaceful and airy space.
13:30 PM – Dark Cave Adventure • Continue your adventure in Phong Nha with a visit to the famous Dark Cave, one of the most exciting destinations in the area. Experience the thrilling zipline Dark Cave, the longest double-wire zipline in Southeast Asia, as you glide across the Chay River and arrive directly at the cave entrance. • Step inside Dark Cave and explore its mysterious natural darkness. Equipped with headlamps and safety gear, you will navigate through the cave’s interior, discovering its untouched beauty. The highlight of this experience is the natural mud bath, where you can relax in mineral-rich mud – a unique and fun activity in Phong Nha that is both refreshing and memorable. • After exploring Dark Cave, continue your journey with more outdoor activities on the river, including a short zipline and kayaking. Enjoy the cool, clear waters and the peaceful scenery of Phong Nha, making this adventure a perfect mix of thrill and relaxation. Note: Zipline 30–90 kg only.

04:15 PM - Continue to take the group back to Dong Hoi City The car and tour guide of Sovaba Travel will take the group back to the hotel/homestay in Dong Hoi City. We say goodbye to you and look forward to welcoming you in the next tour programs. 05:00 PM - Arrival: Arrive in Dong Hoi City, end of the tour to Thien Duong Cave - Dark Cave!

Excellent service. Highly recommended. I was picked up at my hotel and enjoyed a comfortable ride to the mountains. The tour guide spoke excellent English and used humour to create a lovely atmosphere amongst a group of diverse strangers. The cave is breaktaking and the dark Cave option is a must! Navigating muddy cave holes and ending up in a mud pool! Thank you for a great experience.
I did the day tour with Lyly and Jessica. They were great guides who were super enthusiastic all day and spoke great English. It was a great day!

We had an amazing experience with Sovaba Travel during the Paradise Cave and Dark Cave tour in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Our guide, Jessica, was absolutely wonderful. She was very informative, friendly, and explained everything clearly throughout the journey. The overall vibe of the tour was excellent, and she kept the group engaged and energetic the entire time. The Paradise Cave was breathtaking, and the Dark Cave experience was truly adventurous and memorable. Everything was well organized, and the experience felt smooth from start to finish. Great trip with David , the caves where cool and worth visiting , David was very knowledgeable and good at explaining the caves and the overall tour , would reccomend , smiley happy funny guy , made sure we had photos in all the best spots and made the day better
Today was a dream. We stepped inside a 300-million-year-old limestone cave ⛰️ The colours of the minerals, the rock formations, the stalactites, stalagmites and pillars… a fairyland! My heart raced and tears welled up walking through something that has been forming over millions of years. Nature’s artistry knows no bounds 🥹 And the trip didn’t end there! Our tour guide was David — a lovely human being. I travelled with my family: my parents (aged 74 and 67), my 12-year-old son, and my husband. From the moment he received us with such warmth, reserving the front seats for my senior-citizen parents, and gently asking “Team David” (as he called our group of 15 from varied nationalities) to walk slowly — soaking in the nature, mindful of a pace that worked for everyone — he held us all so beautifully. David had a twinkle in his eyes the whole day, hosting us in his hometown like we were old friends. He checked in with each of us about food preferences, and we were treated to the most delicious vegan lunch, while those who ate pork enjoyed an equally scrumptious meal. The Dark Cave took the adventure to the next level. Those who met the weight limit could zipline to the cave entrance. It’s called the Dark Cave because, unlike Paradise Cave, it isn’t lit — it’s smaller, with narrow passages, mud and water inside. You wade in, let the mud coat you, and receive the therapeutic gift of Mother Earth. Then you swim through the most beautiful turquoise water (with a life jacket on — you don’t need to know how to swim, really). And after the cave come the most fantastic water activities: a water trampoline, a water zipline where you simply drop into the turquoise lake, a water slide, kayaking. I’m mind-blown at how well this tour is run, and how beautiful and unspoilt the nature remains. There is such reverence for the natural beauty here. The guides — David certainly did — make sure you tune into that reverence, so you mingle and play in the lap of nature with care and love. May these beautiful places be cared for and loved forever. Thank you, David, for a wonderful day in Phong Nha 💚
