Itinerary
Around 8:00 - 8:30am Your tour guide and the vehicle will pick you up at your hotels in Dong Hoi city then depart for the Day Tour Phong Nha Cave & Paradise Cave. (Please note that 8:00am is a start of pickup time. The vehicle will go to different hotels for pickup. So your pickup time will be in between 8:00am - 8:30am in the central area. You should contact the local operator via WhatsApp at +84-982-804-399 to know exactly what time you will get picked up at your location)
On arrival, the 1st visit will be Paradise cave - the longest dry cave in Asia. Surrounded by forested karst peaks, this staggering cave system extends for 31km, though most people only visit the first kilometre. The scale is breathtaking, as wooden staircases plunge into a cathedral-like space with vast alien-looking stalagmites and stalactites. Get here early to beat the crowds, as during peak times (early afternoon) tour guides shepherd groups using megaphones. From the buggie drop-off, it's a further 600m-plus sweaty climb up to the cave entrance. To explore deep inside the cave beyond the barrier at the end and with luck see the eyeless cave fish that are part of its ecosystem.
12:30 Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village
Explore the most impressive Phong Nha cave. You will take a boat to cruise on Son river about 25 minute to the Phong Nha cave. While on the boat you will see the greenfield, people, houses and limestone along the river. This cave is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. As the boats reach the caves they queue up, entering only one or two at a time. Engines die and the operators drag them along with long poles, slowly and methodically spearing them into the murky water. Once past the entrance, the immense cavern opens up. Giant stalactite chandeliers hang down from the ceiling. Without prodding or asking, everyone falls silent as eyes gaze up and the stone cathedral’s grandeur spills out. It’s a spectacular sight.
16:00 Come back the vehicle for leaving Phong Nha. Group go back to Dong Hoi for drop off at your hotels/places. Around 17:30 we drop you off. End of the trip.

Fanatic experience, you meet amazing people, the staff are friendly and helpful. And the trip is well worth the money.
Its your basic must do caves adventure when you’re here. Our tour guide Andy is knowledgeable, well organized and is very engaging with the right amount of humor. Fluent in English (and Vietnamese, duh). Aside from the caves one of the highlights was the local lunch in between which was surprisingly excellent. The caves experience was fantastic. You got an hour in Paradise cave which I found was just the right amount of time there. The hike up to the cave can be a bit challenging but not too exhausting. But it’s all worth it. Phong Nha cave was serene and beautiful. Highly recommend this tour for everyone.
I visited Paradise Cave and Phong Nha with Paradise Indochina Travel from Dong Hoi, and it was a great experience from start to finish. It was easy to contact them before the trip to request more information, and our guide provided us with valuable insights about the area. She was very friendly and enthusiastic. Everything was well-organized. The lunch was 10/10. I'm very grateful for the experience 😊.
Incredible caves not to be missed. Took bus up from Danang. Well worth it. Tour guide was fantastic with a nice sense of humor.
Very good experience with Paradise Indochina Travel. Tnhe agency was very quick to answer my queries and adapted to my needs too. The tour was good, so was the guide. I recommend.
Excellent full day tour with wonderful guide “Chocolate”. The caves were out of this world beautiful. We really appreciated the lunch provided— best meal we gave had in Vietnam!
Wow! What a fantastic tour!! We had such an amazing day. Started with walking through the spectacular Paradise Caves with our very interesting and informative guide, Ngoc (aka Nick, he is the best)! We were supplied with a traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river which was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Next stage was the boat ride to, and 1km into the Phong Nha caves. A truly surreal, beautiful experience. On the trip back we stopped and walked out to the mouth of the cave before the boat ride back to our starting point. This has been the highlight of our time in Vietnam so far. Highly recommend.
I liked everything, especially the guide, super friendly and helpful, and the delicious lunch! Super Indico!
A full day, well organized with fantastic scenary. Our guide Andy made a good job explaining everything and very polite. The only remark was too small portions at the lunch.
The entire tour was wonderful, except the weather being crappy. It was still enjoyable in the rain..
