Yarra Valley Wine Tour inc lunch with a glass of wine, tastings and chocolate

Arrived in Melbourne and tried to contact company by phone and via Tripavisor to reach out, to confirm pick up location, with no luck. Therefore made the decision to cancel before Tripadvisors 24 hour cancellation deadline had passed and we missed the tour because we couldn't be at the pick up location as we did not know where to go and then lost our money as well. Very poor service by the tour operator.

We just returned from a wonderful excursion with Wine Hop and Coastal Tours. We started the day a bit disappointed because our travel agent had inadvertently scheduled us on a tour that was scheduled to visit some of the same areas that we had just seen a couple of days earlier. When our tour driver, Graeme, heard about this, he pivoted and created a custom tour directed solely at our interests. Graeme was extremely knowledgeable and did everything he could to ensure we had a memorable time. We could not have asked for better service.

Over with my husband from Scotland to visit my daughter and a 2 friends, we had a great day out, Dane was great keeping us well informed about our day

A great tour to the Yarra Valley with Russell our driver. We enjoyed wine tastings at a few local wineries. We were able to see inside Coombe Estate - home of Dame Nellie Melba - which was interesting. Lunch at Rochford Estate was absolutely delicious. The day concluded at Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. Was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Yarra Valley Wine and Chocolate Tour - wonderful group of people on the tour made the tour everything it was. Driver was OK but a little tired. Lunch was fantastic and the places visited along the way were well worth it. Although you visit 4 wineries, 2 are from the same family and it was only lunch at one of the wineries - would have been good to do 4 winery tastings (4 different companies) for variety of wines and experiences. Chocolate and Gelato place was awesome. Overall the day was wonderful and great to experience without driving.

Yarra Valley Wine Tour was advertised as 4 wine tastings and a chocolate tasting. Bill our driver picked us up and then told us the 4 wineries we were having the tastings at. He also gave us a clip board of the 3 course menu we were to have for lunch, ticking off what we wanted. Went to the first winery all fine, second winery where we were to have lunch, we had to pay for our wine tasting which was $10 each. Also the lunch in the end consisted of just a main meal. Even the restaurant manager came to apologise, and told us that was all Wine Hop tours had us down for. The other two wineries were nice. The tour was fine, but if you advertise 4 wineries for tastings, why are we only getting 3, and the lunch was a little embarrassing. I did email Wine Hop Tours 3 weeks ago for their comments, but to no avail

We were fortunate to have a very friendly group of people and very friendly driver. The wineries were all interesting and Yering Farm was outstanding for me. Only problem was Viator got it wrong about the pick-up, but we sorted this out with the company.

So this experience was under all expectations unfortunately, we had a complete quiet and moody tour guide so we got No experience what so ever in information about Yarra valley nor what was going on in each stop. And Main thing, we booked specificly for this particular wine tour from which wineries was said to go to. We only went to one of them! And No information was said about this on the booking either. On the way home the driver decided to drive an extra bit only for looking at kangaroos when most of us only wanted to go home. Incredibly dissapointing, disrespectful and we definately won't book with these again.

Brilliant day. Driver/guide excellent. Communication first rate. Wineries great. Lunch large, tasty and served promptly. Great day.

This tour included wine tastings at 3 vineyards and lunch, with a glass of wine, at another. The lunch was generous and delicious. The last stop was at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, a sweet way to end the day. There was minimal interaction with our driver however the company of the others on the tour was relaxed and most enjoyable. It would have been nice to do a wine tasting at our lunch stop before we chose our glass of wine. A little ‘tour guiding’ from our driver would also have been appreciated however, as we were a relaxed and easily amused bunch of 5, this did not greatly detract from our enjoyment of the day.
