Just an hour from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley is globally renowned for its outstanding chardonnay, pinot noir, and sparkling wines, and stands as Victoria’s most prestigious wine region. This small group tour takes a scenic journey through bushland, vineyards, and farmland en route from the city. Along the way, you’ll visit four cellar doors—spanning boutique, mid-sized, and larger producers—giving you a comprehensive taste of what the region does best. The experience also includes a restaurant-quality main course at Yering Station, home to the Valley’s first vineyard planted in 1838.

Set on more than 450 acres of vineyard clad hills, the visit to the De Bortoli Vineyard is a terrific start to the day. The wine tasting includes their estate and premium wines together with their iconic dessert wine, Noble One. The tasting is enhanced with a pairing of selected cheeses.
You'll enjoy a tasting of estate and reserve wines in the historic cellar door before adjourning to the modern light filled restaurant for an a la carte, main course meal, glass of wine and coffee.
Hosted by one of their enthusiastic staff, your tasting will cover Valley favourites with a standout sparkling.
A great way to end the day at this boutique producer with a tasting of their elegant range of table wines.

The operator will confirm pickup arrangements by the afternoon prior. You will be asked to confirm receipt of this information. We do not collect from every hotel in the city and our pickup route each day is different depending on where our guests are staying. If we cannot collect you from your hotel, we will ask that you meet nearby. The meeting points listed are some examples of where guests can meet us but are not the only ones. Please note, the advice you receive from the tour operator (Vinetrekker) will be the most current and accurate. Always refer to this advice. If you have not received confirmation by 8:00pm the night prior to the tour, contact the local tour operator on 96998148 to confirm your exact pick up point and time. If you fail to be at the advised pick up point at the advised time, no refunds will be offered.

Paul's built such a wonderful tour of the Yarra Valley Wine region that it should not be missed. An elegant and intimate experience that showcases the breadth of the region's wines, paired with history, culture, and breathtaking views. Our all day tour covered four wineries, lunch, and pairings at the last stop; including pickup and drop off transportation in a sleek van. Anyone who is considering this tour, DO NOT THINK TWICE, it's well worth the investment, time, and for the memories that'll last a lifetime.

Fabulous day. Felt really deluxe. Our fabulous host went out of his way to find kangaroos and koala. The wine tasting itself was great and very informative. Lunch was delicious. Worth every penny

We specifically choose this tour hoping for a small group who wanted to know more about wine rather than just a day out and that is exactly what we got. A really good tour guide and only two other guests who we got along with great as they both knew their wine. Expensive trip but very well worth paying more than other trips for a smaller party and being looked after at each venue. Yarra Yering lunch was really good, De Bortoli wine and cheese excellent, Medhurst truly different wines and the setting is fantastic but Coldstream winery a huge disappointment. I didn’t like any of them and struggled to be polite on tasting. This winemaker should not be tasting his wine this young or so far underdeveloped, he’s pushing the envelope far too far on the land & climate he has.

Better quality wine, food and transport are the standouts not to mention the quality of our guides who are personable and knowledgeable. Great experience; group of 10 of us gave an action packed tour including Yering Station, Oakridge, & Punt Road. Some excellent wines along the way, all stops we were received professionally. The wine & cheese matching well needed before we had lunch itself. No pressure to buy but we picked up a stone fruit laden dessert wine on route. Cam, our driver was great
