Great experience. Went with my kids and the instructor was able to adjust the activity so my youngest could do it.
This was an excellent cooking class with a delicious meal. Serena was such a wonderful and gracious instructor. Her pacing and detail was on point. I’ve taken several cooking classes in my travels and I’d rank this as one of the best for the value and excellent instructions.
This class was really great and the leader was excellent at teaching the pinching technique for bao. I was only sad that we did not learn how to make the bobas, she had them pre made/rolled, and we only learned how to cook them and place them with the milk/tea. Overall a great studio/cooking space and excellent instruction! A tasty meal!!
It was wonderful, the staff and other participants were amazing. Very good food we had to cook. Highly recommended!
It was a beautiful kitchen, and I was taught how to do it. Take your time and learn how to make Xiaolongbao from the skin. The teacher will help you where wrapping is difficult. He also teaches me the ropes. I wanted to explain in Japanese, but it was available in both Japanese and English. Many of the other participants were in English, so it was good to hear various stories. On the way back, I was given a detailed recipe written in Japanese, so I would like to make it. It was what I expected. I looked for other cooking classes, but I thought they were a little cheaper and more affordable.
Family of four (two teens) enjoyed this class. Something for everyone. We made Xiao long Bao (soup dumplings) a kind of pork soup and finished with bubble tea. A lot to help for those who struggled to make sure everyone had a successful outcome. Overall was very well managed and everyone was involved. Got to eat it all at the end which turned out to be a pretty filling meal. We didn’t need dinner! Everyone left with a cute certificate with recipes to take home. And they took a lot of pictures which they shared with us as we left. Definitely recommend.
Must do experience in Taipei! Made some of the best soup dumplings and bubble tea I have ever had. Definitely walked away with some appreciation for Taiwanese cooking and some cool recipes to make at home. Really enjoyed the class and the hands on experience.
Excellent cooking class with a great instructor. Highly recommend anyone visiting Taipei to attend. Well worth it.
Vivian and team are great and the best! I got to try everything. What a nice day to start my trip in Taiwan
