A great afternoon in the company of Charles. He was very knowledgeable, funny and charming. His English and wine knowledge is excellent. We enjoyed the selection of wine and cheese. Great way to spend a couple of hours, book away.
An absolute standout experience in Saint-Germain. We stumbled into this wine shop for a tasting, and it ended up being the best wine tasting I’ve ever done. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt intimate and thoughtfully curated—nothing pretentious, just genuinely passionate. Each wine was perfectly paired with a selection of cheeses that elevated the tasting in a way that felt intentional, not routine. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the depth of knowledge and storytelling. Every pour came with a clear, engaging explanation—covering the region, grape varietals, production methods, and even the nuances that make each wine unique. It felt less like a tasting and more like being guided through the soul of French wine. You can tell this isn’t just a business—it’s something they genuinely care about. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who already enjoys wine, this is the kind of place that deepens your appreciation without overwhelming you. If you’re in Paris, especially around Saint-Germain, this is a must. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
Great chance to try different wines from France. Imogen was charming and knowledgeable and I had a great time.
Very tasty and interesting wine tasting. We enjoyed the three glasses of wine (a rose, white and red) and especially enjoyed the delicious cheeses with bread that accompanied. Afterwards, we bought a bottle that we thoroughly enjoyed. And actually went back to the shop the next day and bought three different bottles just to try the different wines.
Our host was very Knowledgeable (I’m sorry I forgot your name!). She also accommodated our preferences
We had a wonderful time!! We loved the wines and learning a little about the history of the different wine regions in France. Would highly recommend.
Alex was truly wonderful! We are still in our novice phase and she was very informative of the proper method when approving wine selection. Her knowledge of the regions captivated us.
The tasting was a great experience. The young lady in the shop was very knowledgeable and very nice. The cheese was paired exceptional. This is a wine tasting, if you want to learn more about French wine and cheeses it is definitely a great experience. Very small group, which made it very intimate and made it possible to ask questions without feeling as if you were being nuisance to other guest in the group. Highly recommend it.
This was fantastic! Our hostess, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable and the wines and cheese were fabulous!
Very nice tasting in a local wine shop. The information was a little all over the place but since we had some knowledge of french wine already it did not bother me. The wines were very good and we ended up buying a bottle at the end. As it was a weeknight in the winter it was just us in the tasting, the cheese and bread was very good and a good portion size. I would recommend.
