Viewing the backside of Whistler Blackcomb from Brandywine Mountain offers a unique and stunning perspective. Brandywine Mountain, situated to the south of the Whistler Blackcomb resort, provides a vantage point that highlights the less-visited, rugged side of the ski area.

Pass by

Black Tusk stands out prominently with its dramatic, jagged silhouette. The peak is characterized by its dark, almost black, volcanic rock, which contrasts starkly with the surrounding landscape. The top of the peak often appears to be a rugged spire, adding to its impressive and somewhat mysterious appearance.

Pass by

When you look at Mount Fee from the Callaghan Valley, you're greeted with a striking and dramatic view. Mount Fee, part of the Coast Mountain range in British Columbia, rises prominently against the horizon. Its rugged, jagged peak often appears snow-capped, even in summer, adding a crisp, white contrast to the darker, rocky slopes.

Super Fun, Scenic, and Safe

We had a fantastic time on this tour, so much so that we actually booked a follow-up private tour a few days later. First tour was the preset "Bushwhacker" tour. We had Sam and Ryan as guides. It was a great tour; in particular, they split up the groups in a way that I think insured both parties had a good time. We came back for a private tour, where we had Ryan and the 5 of us who were more adventurous. This was fantastic; Ryan did a great job of finding the pace and trails where we felt pushed, but remained safe. Ryan went very fast when the cost of mistakes was very low (which was fun and thrilling), but also knew when to slow things down when the cost of mistakes was high. I found myself thinking multiple times "wow, I'm glad Ryan is setting the pace here, since if it was just me I definitely would have gone too fast on this corner/bump/downhill etc." Views were exceptional. I've probably spent 1000+ days of my life in Whistler, and the view we got of Mount Fee was maybe the best I've seen in a place that has a lot of spectacular views. Highly recommended

Operator response

Thanks so much for the awesome review! We’re really glad you had such a great time on both tours and came back for a private trip. We’ll pass your kind words on to Sam and Ryan — they’ll really appreciate it. And we’re happy you enjoyed the views, especially Mount Fee! We couldn’t agree more, the view of Mount Fee is superb! Thanks again for recommending us and we hope to see you back out there again. Regards, Whistler ATV

It was ok mostly on logging roads. Some nice scenery. Machines good. Apparel dirty and non maintained.

This was an ATV experience with mostly amateur riders. Simple terrain on logging roads. Good guide but if looking for something more adventurous this might not be it.

Operator response

Not worth it - save your money

Very expensive to ride an atv on some pretty average trails. Had 2-3 beautiful viewpoints, but the rest were just forested trails. Don’t get me wrong - still very enjoyable, I just think $400+ to do that is insane, and then to expect a tip after not adding any value makes it even worse. Also, we didn’t even get the full two hours - we started safety talks and training at about 2:05pm and we were back in our car by 3:45pm, clean-up included. For the price, I’d expect every minute used. Obviously not the same location, but we had a much better experience with Toby Creek Adventures where they actually took us into the mountains for just a slightly higher cost (maybe $100 more but soooo worth it). If you can, go there instead! Or, save your money all together - just go on a hike in Squamish and get better views for free.

Operator response

Hi, and thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you felt the tour was expensive. We do clearly advertise both the price and duration of the experience before booking. Our tours are approximately 2 hours round trip from Whistler Village, with about 1 hour and 25 minutes of riding time. Based on your comments, it sounds like you received roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes of ride time, which is actually longer than our standard expectation. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trail network and the beautiful views during your tour. We believe those trails are one of the highlights of the experience, and we're glad you were able to appreciate them. Thank you for joining us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Great fun in the rain

Highly recommend this activity, my wife and myself had never ridden quad bikes before, but after a little tuition, we had a great time. The weather was awful but it didn’t spoil the fun at all!
