Whistler Photo Safari is a family-run local BC business and a must-do when visiting Whistler! I had several questions before booking, and Sherry was responsive, friendly, and made the booking process a breeze. The jeeps have removable roofs, allowing you to stand up and capture fantastic photos while enjoying amazing views of the bears. Jason was our guide, and he was both knowledgeable and passionate about bears and wildlife. We had a small group of just three people in our jeep, which made for a fun and personal experience, with plenty of shared laughs along the way. We saw a male bear grazing, and it was clear that the guides are very respectful of the environment, ensuring the bears have plenty of space and are never disturbed. We were also lucky enough to see a mama bear and her cub! The whole tour was an incredible experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Whistler.
A brilliant experience, we watched a bear foraging and wandering through the woods for 20 minutes. Chris W and Alex were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the animals, making the trip all the more memorable. Thank you
Had a fabulous three hour trip with our guide Chris Watson. We did manage to catch site of a little black bear during our trip. Chris was a terrific guide, so knowledgeable about the areas flora and fauna. Would highly recommend this fun tour.
This was a wonderful morning tour with our guide, Mike, who was very knowledgeable on bears and on the area generally. We had an amazing siting of a mother and her cub who came within feet of our vehicle. Incredible!
Was great, bears, and birds seen. But also the visit to the ski jumps of the 2010 Olympic Games. Highly recommended.
Great day out with Mike, lucky enough to see 5 bears, including a mother & her cub. Awesome experience, made better by Mikes knowledge.
Best. Tour. Ever. Our guide, Joel, was knowledgeable and funny. We did see a few bears! Overall a wonderful experience worth the price!
We had an excellent bear-tour at the olympic ski-jump terrain of Whistler Canada. Our tourgide Mike told us alot about bears ofcourse but also about the terrain of the olympic games of 2010. Especially the ski-jump was a beautiful view and beautiful pictures. We got a very close look of a juvenile blackbear of approximately 3 years old. Mike opened the jeep top and we got to make a lot of photo's standing on the seat. Thanks for being our great tourgide Mike.
Chris was amazing. Informative and friendly. Spent time going around the park several times to try and find a bear (which we did).
We booked a private tour in the evening and had Jacob as our guide. This trip was simply perfect and we could not have wished for more. Jacob was outstanding in his knowledge and enthusiasm of both the bears and the park itself. We saw several bears and their wellbeing was always at the forefront of Jacob’s mind when spotted, providing a perfect balance of protecting their wellbeing, but allowing us to view and watch them in their natural environment. Included in the tour was a guide of the Olympic Park, where we were able to stand at the top of the ski slope and watch a stunning sunset. You always wonder when you book these trips using only online info/reviews if they are worth the money - you will not be disappointed if you book with this company. Truly stunning experience.
