ADVENTURE FUN

This is the 4th time that I have been whale watching with White Rock Sea Tours and I have never been disappointed. Every tour has been different. I've now seen the seals in different locations, Biggs whales, grey whales and the last time I got the pleasure to see porpoises and humpback whales. The humpbacks were jumping out of the water and showing off their big tale fins. The staff is friendly and informative.

Impressive whale watching

We had a really great whale watching. The children could also come along without any problems (4 and 6 years). We can only recommend it.

Perfect day of leisure and nature!

What a special day for our group of six women, with a boat all to ourselves! From booking the tour with short notice, to answering all my annoying questions, and treating us with such kindness and attention, White Rock Sea Tour employees were top notch. Our departure from Crescent Beach on a beautiful day, a 35 minute boat ride to Saturna Island, a 15 minute walk to the Sage Hayward Winery and Bistro, where we had a lovely wine tasting at our table followed by a delicious meal, was heaven! The best part was being told by our tour guides that we could take our time, as long as we wanted, and just message them when we were ready to go. Our server at the Bistro, originally from Montreal, was a treat. She was so pleasant and attentive, all on a day they were short staffed. Our boat ride back was made even more special with a sighting of a pod of transient Orcas and a stop to see the Stellar sea lions lounging on a large buoy. We loved it! Thank you White Rock Sea Tours for a memorable six hours!

Incredible experience on the red boat with Andy!

It was surreal! Andy was great! My crew saw a seal escape 3-4 Orcas by jumping onto another boat. And the sea lions were so stinking cute! The whole experience was truly priceless! Thank you Andy for an unforgettable experience. P.S. if you’re offered a ride on the red boat with the weird seats, just do it!!!

Amazing whale watching experience

Brilliant trip. Very professional company and the guide was really knowledgeable. We were so lucky - a pod of 3 orcas swam really close us. Weather and sea conditions were also perfect.

Good, but tell us more along the way!

The experience itself was good. The boat was fun, albeit it was uncomfortable after a little while, and we did see a humpback whale and some sealions, but our guide did not really do a huge amount. When we saw wildlife, he was knowledgeable and gave us details about the animals, but there really was not a huge amount of communication. It would have been good to learn and know about where we were and the area! For example, we had no idea we had entered American waters, or what the islands were we sailed past and through. There was one point where we were amongst the islands, and then we just sped off, without any reason why. Like I say, it is a good tour, and we saw stuff, but given we were on the boat for 3.5 hours, it would have been nice to be told more facts about the area and wildlife. It was a bit lacklustre and came away half disappointed. It honestly felt like we were just on a boat sailing around for hours.
