This was the very last thing we did at the end of a two week adventure to the Pacific Northwest, and it proved an amazing conclusion to an already fantastic trip. The boat was very comfortable and we appreciated the hot drinks. The crew was all very nice and knowledgeable. We were so fortunate as, not only did we see some orcas in the Vancouver Harbour, we also happened upon a group of breaching whales - an awe-inspiring sight! As part of the tour, crew members take photos that are emailed to you within a few hours - not only did they capture fantastic pictures, it also meant that we could just really be present and enjoy our time with the whales instead of trying to get the perfect shot. We also really appreciated the respect the crew seemed to have for the whales, not crowding them or approaching them, understanding that we were visitors to their waters. The whole thing was terrific. Special shout out to Jonah and Victor, two of the naturalists aboard; and Karl, our captain. Highly recommend this tour!
Absolutely amazing! I want to go again tomorrow. I went solo as I don't know anyone here and it was worth every penny. We saw 3 humpback whales and 5 Orcas. It felt very respectful of the animals as this has put me off tours in the past. Fawkes and the gang were great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They love what they do and it shows.
An absolutely fantastic experience. We were a family of five and loved every minute of it. We got to see humpbacks, orcas, sea lions, seals and bald eagles. We had really good views of the whales and got to follow them for a good bit of time. An added very nice touch was they have a photographer who takes lots of nice photos so you can relax and enjoy the experience. They send you all the photos at no extra charge. And hot drinks were also included. The crew made it an even more enjoyable experience with their commentary, knowledge and general helpfulness. So a big shout out to Dawson, Dani and Fox who were all awesome. An all round fantastic experience, great value and would definitely recommend to others.
What a wonderful sea cruise! 3 1/2 hours that went by way too fast. Whale watching was on my husbands bucket list but I enjoyed it as much as he did! Definitely worth the money. Saw orcas and humpback whales! Also sea lions , seals and a bald eagle! Jake was our guide and there were 3 or 4. Better than a loud speaker because each was designated an area of the boat. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate AND they sent an email of photos of the whales, map where they were found again FREE! Thank you all but especially Jake. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all questions! We will recommend this tour company to everyone!

Incredible! We saw humpbacks breaching, orcas hunting and sea lions swimming around. Great ship, plenty of area to stay dry and warm. Excellent crew.

The absolute highlight of my Vancouver trip was the half-day whale watching tour. We were treated to incredible sightings of Orcas, Humpback Whales, Sea Lions, and Eagles, all set against a stunning coastal backdrop. What an incredible tour! We were lucky enough to witness an amazing interaction between orcas and humpback whales—something we’ll never forget. The entire crew was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about what they do. A huge thank you to Tobin, Caitlin, Ashley, Stephen, and Roman for making the experience so special. Tobin was especially fantastic, using the hydrophone to help us listen to the incredible sounds of the orcas, which made the experience even more memorable. This was a great experience of being able to see whales and learn more about them. We saw humpback, orcas and sea lions. Both Fox and Dawson were amazing both with telling us about the whales and making sure we were comfortable

Our whale watching tour with the Prince of Whales was the most amazing experience !! We saw an incredible amount of whales (at least 16 orcas and 1-2 humpbacks) that had us jumping with excitement ! The crew Tobin, Caitlin, Ashley, Stephen, and Roman were so knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate! Would absolutely recommend this tour :)

What an awesome experience I had on the Prince of Whales Whale Watching half-day tour! It was a bit cloudy, with a sprinkling of rain, but it did not detract from our experience at all! Tobin, one of the naturalists on board, gave us a safety briefing, and I felt well cared for! He also went around the deck and gave everyone an idea of the types of whales we might find on our tour. Our captain, Roman and the first mate, Stephen, expertly spotted and navigated us to a safe distance from a pod of 4 transient orcas we saw up Howe Sound. One of the naturalists, Caitlin, was seated at the prow of the boat and kindly introduced us to the T123 orcas - she was able to identify them all by name (Stanley, Sidney, Lucky and Darcy), tell us their backstories and answer all my orca questions! She was great. Roman and Stephen then took us out to the Salish Sea to find some humpbacks! There, Seb and Tobin (the other two naturalists) identified Kelpie and Hammer, two big humpbacks! Tobin was my favourite naturalist; he was super funny and full of whale knowledge! He also shared many of his own experiences photographing whales, growing up around Howe Sound, and his daily excursions with Prince of Whales. It was so cool that we got to see two types of whales on one trip!! Seb took many professional-quality photos that he kindly shared with us at no cost! And he also served complimentary drinks on board - I recommend the hot chocolate! All in all, a fabulous evening watching whales with a great crew! I definitely recommend this company!!
