Lots of sightings, nice driver, Jose. Knew a lot to tell and drove safely. Gave us plenty of time. Because of a miscommunication, I was late. Jose drove up to me and dropped me off there, even though that place was not agreed.
This excursion is really a must-do; we were able to discover another part of the island. I recommend it 100%. Our guide spoke French, so that's a plus.
Great and attentive tour guide Duarte who has a lot of knowledge of the island and its plants and locations.
Really enjoyed our tour, driving up into the mountains, above the clouds. Spectacular views, driving off roads was great fun.Loved swimming in the lava pools. Our guide Jacinta was great, very knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed this tour and it was convenient with drop-off and pick-up, the pacing and sights we visited. It was not too information heavy, but focused on the scenery, and gave participants time to explore each place, eat where they want, swim or not. Our guide, Luis Castro, was warm, accommodating, great at driving off-road and spoke German fluently! This was well-priced, convenient and permitted us to see several beautiful spots in one day while skipping the planning and driving!!
Ameeeeei the walk! For the first time and alone in Funchal, in July/2023, I made a tour with the Green Devil Safari and liked it so much that I booked another. Friendly guides and prepared (thank you, Lino!), amazing places! When I return to Madeira, I will definitely schedule new tours.
We loved our jeep tour and Dino, our guide and driver, was spectacular, he was tireless, both in his conversations and explanations and the passion he has for his land and what he does, despite the weather not being the best and unfortunately we had a very unfriendly couple who from the beginning complained about everything from their seats, like the weather itself, for them everything was an excuse to complain, they should have stayed on the boat. But Dino had a lot of patience and politeness and proved to be a true professional. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a good time on adventure and get to know the island of Madeira.
Marcio was the best tour guide--so easy going with a great sense of humor. The experience of going offroad where no rental car can go was amazing.
