Washington D.C. Tour from New York
Description
We will visit the U.S. capital on a full tour to Washington, D.C., touring the nation’s most important monuments. We will leave Manhattan with a guide in Spanish, crossing New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland until we reach Virginia. Our first stop will be Arlington National Cemetery, where John F. Kennedy and historical figures rest. Then we will visit the Iwo Jima Memorial and arrive at the National Mall to see the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Korea Memorial and the reflective pool next to the Washington Obelisk. We will continue to the Federal Reserve, the OAS, the International Red Cross and the White House at an outside stop. Then we will visit the Ford Theater, FBI headquarters and the southern part of the Capitol. You will have free time for lunch before returning to New York, ending in Times Square. Weather permitting, we'll make a stop at the Weehawken viewpoint.

Itinerary
Our tour begins when you leave Manhattan with a Spanish-speaking guide who will tell you all the curious details you will see, we will pass through the state of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland to reach our destination, Virginia and Washington DC.
When we meet in Delaware we will stop for breakfast, use toilets and stretch our legs
Then we will head to the state of Virginia to border the Pentagon US Intelligence Center
Our first stop will be Arlington National Cemetery, where we will visit the graves of former President John F. Kennedy and his relatives, Robert Strange McNamara — Secretary of Defense from 1961 to 1968 — and Michael Musmanno, a jurist and naval politician.
Our next stop will be the Iwo Jima Memorial, a tribute to the United States Navy Corps.
We will arrive at the National Mall, where you will find some attractions of the city: the Vietnam War Memorial, the Monument to the Three Soldiers, the Lincoln Monument, site of the historical speech “i have a dream” by Dr. Martin Luther King jr. and the Korean War memorial.
We will continue the tour past the federal reserve, the Washington Monument, better known as the “obelisk,” the reflective pool, World War II memorial, and buildings of the OAS and International Red Cross.
We will reach the outside of the white house, where you can take pictures and remember the famous Conchita, a woman who lived for decades in a tent in protest against nuclear weapons and continues today Philipos Melaku-bello.
We'll visit the Ford Theater, where President Lincoln was assassinated, and we'll pass the FBI headquarters area.
We will visit the southern exterior of the National Capitol.
After this you will have free time to eat, or visit one of the Museums, we will be very close to the Air and Space Museum, the Museum of the American Indian, the Museum of the Bible and the Museum of the Spy.
We will be back in Manhattan between 20:00 and 21:00 hours (depending on transit), ending the tour in the Times Square area (42nd st and 9th Ave).

Both the guide Ángel and the driver Jean Paul were super kind, very clear throughout the trip, the sites visited were incredible. It is an intense tour, but very good.

The walk was excellent! Even with the short time, it was possible to see all the important sights of Washington. The Angel guide is note 1,000!!! Very attentive and knowledgeable of American history.

It was a good experience to tour the most important parts of Washington in one day, it is much easier than going by train or bus on your own and the price is very good. We had a very friendly Spanish-speaking guide (Luna), she had a lot of knowledge of the culture and the places. On the way we made the necessary stops to have breakfast, go to the bathroom and stretch our bodies a little but without delaying too much so as not to extend the trip. Since traffic was ok we were able to make two additional stops. I definitely recommend it.
