I would NOT recommend Summit One Vanderbilt at all! It was primarily an expensive experience called "Waiting in Line and then Getting Dizzy." Once you wait in line to get past the entry, you wait again to crawl through a video introduction, and then to get booties (to cover shoes) and sun glasses. We were in a small, dark video cave for four repetitions of the video. My teen was doing the dialog along with the video by the fourth repetition (which was hilarious but not what we wanted to spend our time doing.) Then, after we got our booties we waited in a dark hallway which periodically lit up with "moving lights." Clearly this is a hallway intended to be walked through in a moment as a transition. Again we stood here for 10-15 minutes mostly in total darkness! I really wished I was wearing a mask by this point - so much close breathing. Finally we arrived at the observation area. It is lined with mirrors on the floor and above which made both of us dizzy. The space was filled with people. Far far too crowded. The "immersive art" was not impressive -- a bunch of reflective balls which only made us more dizzy. It was hard to appreciate the view -- over stimulating We asked to leave ! I tried to get a refund at the bottom but was told I could only get a free pass for another visit. Are you kidding me? Skip this ordeal and go to the top of One World Trade Center for an awesome and relaxing view of Lower Manhattan. The Top of the Rock is probably a better way to view upper Manhattan than the Summit.
Wish there was more experience types, the balloons were cool but way over crowded when we went thru, making it difficult to take photos. Overlooking the city was amazing!
Good time in NYC to see a different view & take cool photos! Recommend for love ones (kids/partners)
Well organised, friendly staff and amazing view!
Fantastic experience, great fun for all ages. Amazing views. Definitely worth it, but go the extra few dollars and experience the ASCENT
The rooms were interesting. Two rooms were very cool. The views are great through large windows. But there are waaaay too many people. They encourage you to take your time in each room, which means the two cool rooms were super crowded. They need less people per time slot. I wouldn’t go again.
We had a wonderful time at the summit , it was our anniversary and we needed photos, summit give us very beautiful photos Thanks you summit .
Visiting one of New York’s most iconic new blocks, inaugurated in 2020, the One Vanderbilt, going on the observation floors and enjoying the view of the Big Apple on its 335m high is an experience worth doing, both for the wide view of the city as well as for the various entertainment existing along the three floors of this unforgettable attraction. The mirrored environments, stained glass floors (without supports), lounge with floating silver balls etc, give the place an excellent tour option. The architectural project, written by the KPF Office, is a separate attraction that does not go unnoticed by anyone. Sensational!
Amazing gives you a beautiful view of skyline of NYC, you should explore the other features of the experience from the breathtaking pictures to the balloon filled area to the picture in the clouds
The visit was very good but I bought the ascent as extra and what I arrived was not working. They made a refund but at a smaller amount than the difference I paid.
