Fabulous day out. Aaron our guide introduced us his country, generously shared his cultural knowledge and taught us about bush tucker. Couldn’t think of a better way to experience the Daintree and Cape Tribulation.
Kulki is a special place, thanks for visiting and exploring the Daintree, the world's oldest living rainforest with us!
We explored Cape tribulation for the day and it was magical. The guides local knowledge on the region with his bush medicine expertise made this an experience we won’t forget. 5 stars for us.
Cheers, thank you for the review and for touring with us, we love the opportunity to get out in the rainforest and explore around.
Aaron was a fantastic tour guide! None of us had seen a Cassowary yet, and he did his best to find one for us - in the end we saw 4 on the day! He is really great at involving everyone, and great at communicating his knowledge of the land and everything you see there.
Wow you had a great outing with seeing 4 kurranji, how cool! Aaron also came back from tour, saying he enjoyed the day with you guys.
Amazing tour with Aboriginal guide Erin showing us the tropical rainforrest being one big medicine cabinet. And we were privilaged to encounter the casuary. He succeeded in making the day for us an unforgetable experience. Highly recommended.
Thank you guys, so good to read your review. Seeing the cassowary (kurranji) is always pretty impressive hey!!
Aaron was my guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to make us all feel comfortable and welcomed.
Thanks guys, we love that our tours are with a smaller number of participants, so that everyone can engage with what we have to share
We had a wonderful day with Juan. He is extremely knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife and has an amazing personal library of aboriginal history and artifacts. 10 out of 10 definitely.
That is so nice to read, thank you for touring with us and sharing a review. I love the chance to get out on country, so I really appreciate you guys taking the tour.
This tour was walking and driving and was an excellent learning experience for us about the area and the native people. We saw exotic animals and plants and wondrous trees in the rainforest. Aaron was well prepared and very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful and fun day to remember!
Thank you for sharing the review of your tour with us, we love getting out & about and showing interested people around Kuku Yalanji country
It was an excellent tour. Could not fault it. Our guide, Aaron, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He would spot something and stop at the side of the road to show us about native fruit and veg and share stories. Something I would not have got with any other tour. Although the weather was not on our side, we got more than we asked for. Will definitely be coming back in winter. Thank you Aaron.
Thanks guys, there is so much to show & share, we are glad you guys toured with us
Our tours were informative and a pleasure to be part of, we did both full day tours. Our driver Aaron was absolutely amazing, his knowledge, humour and attention to details was what made the tour. Doing both tours gave us a better understanding of the tropical rainforest, the uniqueness of each side made for a better understanding and appreciation of this area. We were never rushed, he found us the cassowary bird with chicks, ice cream, beautiful scenery and unforgettable appreciation for what this area means to the indigenous people. It was a privilege to be parts of these tours. Darlene & Wil Canada
That is lovely to hear, and we are so pleased you enjoyed both the tours... we really do live in a beautiful part of the world, and it is so good you gave yourselves the time to really explore the uniqueness of this area
Absolutely amazing! From the moment we were collected, Aaron made us feel welcome. From seeing Cassowaries and their chicks to trying local fruits and medicines to having the best guide, it couldn’t have been a better day. Aaron helped me feel comfortable enough to hold a Peppermint Stick Insect and swim in a fresh water creek in the oldest rainforest in the world 🌴. P.S the trip to the local ice cream was great! 🍨
The cassowary is an impressive bird to see hey! So glad you got to see them whilst exploring the Daintree... it's a different feeling once you hit that rainforest north of the Daintree river hey!
