Waikiki Private Group Surf Lesson

Great experience! Really loved this surf school! Chaz and Eric were great! They have a photographer that went out with them and got great shots of this fun experience!

My daughter has wanted to take a surf lesson for ages and we finally did it. The paddling is hard work, the ocean is salty and you’ll fall a lot, but once you catch a wave, you’ll realize it’s worth it. The instructor was helpful, super encouraging and kind. There is a photo package available to view before buying. Compared to other photos for sale, I felt like the pictures were much cooler. If you are looking for an active beach activity, I definitely recommend stoke-drift.

Best group of folks to teach anyone how to surf! So kind and pleasant to be around! Didn’t feel like a customer, it felt more like hanging out with friends! No disrespect to the others, lol, but CHAZ IS THE BEST! Our daughter is hooked after one day with Chaz! He made the day an experience to remember! And get the new black tee with green logo! The experience is really smooth. The trainer is really helpful and friendly, he explained everything well, I stood up in my first try. The photo is also wonderful

We had a wonderful time! Our instructors Dane and Keith were absolutely amazing. They were so patient and friendly to talk to. They genuinely want you to do well. It is a far paddle to the waves but it is worth it! Calm waves and shallow waters.

It was so fun! The shop is easy to find. Check in process was also straightforward and they have lockers for your stuff. They have a pro photographer who comes out to take photos of you so no need to bring your phone, which is one less thing to think about while on vacation. My surf instructors were Cody and Taylor and they were amazing! Their instructions were great and they were so friendly. The hardest part of surfing was paddling out to the waves from the shore and also back each time after you catch a wave and want to catch another, but the instructors come out to help you so you can just focus on having fun!!

My daughter and I went surfing for our first time with Cole and Chaz at Stoke Drift. We had an amazing time and both of us got up and rode multiple waves during our surf lesson. Cole and Chaz were knowledgeable and fun to learn from. Everything was low pressure and fun. They even took pictures of us surfing with Diamond Head in the background. Awesome time. Definitely recommend Cole, Chaz and Stoke Drift.

Nate G and Kierran W were fantastic instructors for our Waikiki surf lesson. As complete beginners, my daughters and I felt supported the entire time and we were thrilled that each of us managed to ride a few waves. The spot was easy to get to, and the lesson was well-paced and fun. A great experience from start to finish.

Everything is provided and there are lockers to store your items. The instructors are great and there is a photographer with the group capturing amazing photos to purchase afterwards. My daughters loved this experience- first time surfing!
