We had the best time on our all access vip tour with Gerard. We arrived a few minutes late due to subway and when we got to the entrance we were greeted by name and escorted through to meet our guide. Gerard is one of the coolest people we met on our trip, really friendly and welcoming. He knows his stuff hes worked at the Empire State Building for 26 years and took us through the history from start to present day. We got a tour from right down in the original bank vault up to the viewing deck 102 floors up (the view from up there is unforgettable). The stop off in the celebrity green room was a nice time to relax with a glass of champagne and snacks and learn some more about what goes on and the events that happen there. We were booked in for 4pm on Sunday 15th and it was just myself and my husband, the building wasn't particularly busy at that time so it really was a private tour. I would recommend for the best experience to book during quieter times if possible. We really can't thank Gerard enough for making our visit the best way to round up my birthday trip to New York! We will definitely be back!!
Not worth the money. My husband and I questioned several employees about our passes and we were directed to wait in line with a mass of people never once being directed to a shortened line. Nothing VIP about the pass. Maybe the Empire State Building employees don’t understand the VIP pass but seriously don’t waste your money.
