A representative met us at the pick-up point and took us over to the tour guide at the tunnel entrance. The guide was outstanding. She gave us an excellent historical background, explaining how the area changed over the centuries. She pointed out many interesting features of the tunnel along the way. When we got to Castel San Angelo she provided an informative overview. It’s was a lot to cover in an hour, but it was interesting. She spoke distinctly and her English was beautiful.
