You can easily pick one up after you enter, before starting your own independent visit. If you are looking for a guided tour with wheelchair access, we recommend booking our private tours so a guide can lead you through the alternate routes

- St. Peter's Basilica is closed during the following times: Wednesdays: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, December 24 and 31 During these times, the tour will visit other parts of the museums
- St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel close without notice on rare occasions; if this happens, your guide will take you to tour the Vatican Museums and/or the Sistine Chapel/St Peter's Basilica/Raphael Rooms instead

My daughter and I toured the Holy City today with Rudy. Rudy was an amazing guide.He was friendly, fun, and he added a touch of humor to the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican. He guided us to the best locations for pictures. All in all, it was a great experience.
Rudy was very knowledgeable and aware of the team's needs (water, shade, pictures, etc) which made for a smooth experience. He also has good humour which makes the tour enjoyable!

Fabulous tour with Rudy! Highly recommend! This is a very crowded place, but Rudy kept us together snd was very informative. This tour includes skipping the long lines and getting to places through special passageways instead of following huge crowds. A+
