The tour started on time. Radios were provided before meet and greet. Our guide Julia was very nice and knowledgeable. We were with our son who's 9 years old and she made the activity very engaging for him. The tour went smooth with skip-the line tickets which is convenient due to the long lines this place has. St Peter's Basilica was beautiful and Dome climb was quite a challenge but totally worth it, the view up there is marvelous. Then, a time was provided to buy souvenirs, and tour ended on Crypt as detailed. Overall, a must do activity if you visit Rome. Great experience and great guide as I said before. Thank you!
Please allow time to and from with taxis. We ended up going on the early side and hit a ton of traffic. Our guide was amazing unfortunately I never caught his name but he was very knowledgeable and was always making sure that everyone was staying in the group. I learned so much. Enjoy your experience.
Very knowledgable guide. Well organised and ready to go on-time. Entry queue was a bit longer than is ideal but there is not much the guide can do about that.
Our guide was absolutely incredible. From start to finish he wowed us with his exceptional knowledge. He communicated effortlessly and engaged us throughout. So glad we didn’t opt for “fast track” it was clear that we got in much quicker in the normal line. This firm had to change the time of our tour due to private masses taking place. However they asked first if it was ok to change and then communicated this to us so clearly. Joining instructions were brilliant too. Absolutely amazing day and the Dome climb was incredible. Our guide asked us for a word to describe what we had experienced I said that I was “humbled” my partner said “just wow””
There is no ‘skip the line’ with these tickets, but going early (8:30) ensured a short line that moved very quickly. The view from the top of the dome was worth the 320 steps. Our guide did a great job with the history, the art works and the crypts. Well worth the guide!
Alexandra was an amazing guide and made the trip alive with explanations that brought the basilica and St Peter’s square to life. We saw the story as well as the beauty and appreciate the history and development of the Vatican story so much better than before. Thanks for bringing it to life for us 🤩
Excellent guide Maxi!! Great knowledge and great person!!
