Itinerary
Stanley Park is a 405-hectare public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. The park has a long history and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city.
Chinatown is known for its buzzing food scene, which includes traditional Asian bakeries, dim sum restaurants and hip cocktail bars. Jars of ginseng and dried fish line the shelves of old-school apothecaries, while Chinese groceries stocked with live seafood and exotic vegetables share the streets with indie fashion shops.
Lively Gastown is known for its whistling Steam Clock and mix of souvenir shops, indie art galleries and decor stores in Victorian buildings. A trendy food and drink scene includes chic cocktail lounges and restaurants serving everything from gourmet sandwiches to local seafood. Hip eateries also dot the neighboring Downtown Eastside area, while the up-and-coming Railtown district is home to edgy fashion studios.
The group will drive over a prominent Vancouver landmark, the Lion’s Gate Bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, English Bay, and beyond.
Next, head over to a world-famous foot bridge, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the surrounding temperate rainforest and to learn the traditions of the Coast Salish indigenous people. Then the group will be guided across the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river. Climb onto the canopy and walk through the Treetop Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below. For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the 'Cliffwalk', the newest attraction at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey travels through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face to give the group access to unexplored territories of the park.

The suspension bridge was well worth seeing as well as Granville Island… but that’s shopping and food. The tour around the city was okay. Our guide Kevin was good but had some difficult personalities on this trip and seemed to have a bit of difficulty talking over them or asking them politely to keep it down so everyone could hear him
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed Capilano Suspension Bridge and Granville Island, two of Vancouver's most popular attractions. We also appreciate your kind words about Kevin. We understand that group dynamics can sometimes be challenging, and we appreciate your understanding. Our guides always do their best to ensure everyone has a great experience while keeping the tour running smoothly for all guests. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back to Vancouver in the future! Warm regards, The Vancity Tours Team

Not a lot of time to get out at each place except the Capalino suspension bridge. And 15 minutes on Danville island. Other than that everything else was drove by. And in a van that was not conducive to seeing much if sitting in the back.
Hello Debbie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We always aim to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations, and your input helps us improve. The tour guide was on auto pilot and repeatedly just mentioned facts with very little enthusiasm. Otherwise he was very nice person.

We had a layover in Vancouver and wanted to get a feel for the city and key sights. This was a perfect length for us and took us past a number of key areas, but our guide pulled over and explained the background and/or what was happening in the area like the changing face of Chinatown. Never felt rushed and plenty of time at planned stops to see key sights such as Stanley Park & totems, Gastown, Capilano and Granville Is.
Hi there, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that the tour was the perfect fit for your layover and gave you a meaningful introduction to Vancouver. Making the most of a short stay is exactly what we aim for — giving guests a real feel for the city without ever feeling rushed. It’s wonderful to know that you appreciated the added context along the way, especially learning about areas like the evolving face of Chinatown. We believe those stories truly bring the city to life. And of course, stops like Stanley Park and the totems, Gastown, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Granville Island are such iconic highlights — we’re so glad you had plenty of time to enjoy each one. If your travels bring you back to Vancouver, we would love to explore even more with you next time! Warm regards, The Vancity Tours
