Was great fun making traditional paella and informative on the history and relevance to the culture. Very friendly staff and tasted amazing (probs cause I helped cook).
A fun 2.5hr experience good for families. They provided drinks and snacks to nibble before food was done cooking. Roberto was passionate and gave detailed instructions. There was some hands-on cooking but we mostly watched the chefs.
This was the most fun ever! Loved our chefs. Loved the experience of helping to make paella. And in the end it tasted fantastic! I would highly recommend!
Super fun experience to have with friends and family. There were 4 tables of 8 at the Valencia Culinary Cocina and everyone got a chance to contribute to cooking the meal. The chefs are engaging and explained every step of the process and the meal and wine were excellent and plentiful. Highly recommend!
A fun couple of hours where I really learnt how to make a Spanish omelette, local paella and desert cake. Roberto was a fun chef that really explained each element. Really worth the time. Excellent experience
This was an absolutely brilliant experience- we not only learned the history of Paella and how to properly prepare it, we shared the time with people from five other countries. We also learned how to cook traditional Spanish omelette and sponge cake for dessert. Pair those with wine and Sangria and it’s as good as it gets!
The cooking school is in a residential area, far from the tourist spots, but easily accessible by public transport. The market hall we visited is small, charming, and tailored to the needs of the neighborhood, with no tourists except for us. The chef competently and humorously guided 11 people through informative and educational 2.5 hours, during which we made Paella Valenciana, tortilla, and a cake. Step by step and with tips and tricks, we became cooks ourselves. Delicious, exciting, and leaves you wanting more!
Good fun, relaxed atmosphere, learnt a lot and tasted some excellent food. Came away with recipes too!
Fantastic day . Highly recommend
Came to this class to learn how to make paella, which we did, and it was a great experience, but my favorite thing was learning how to make a Valencia “cocoa,” which is cake. Very simple recipe that is very versatile and very delicious. We also learned how to make a tortilla Española. Well worth it. Wonderful experience.
