It was really nice to learn about the city but we got lost a few times and some of the streets were closed. Plus, because it was a walking tour, I thought it would be handicapped accessible, but it is not! I had to look down instead of up for the tour because the sidewalks were so uneven. Plus, going by the cemetery is great but because it’s so old, it’s made of cobblestone- not great for a powdered chair. And fyi- you might want to try going backwards over the tracks- my wheels got stuck and I learned the hard way! I guess it’s not the tour’s fault but it’s still hard to follow along without stopping it!
Hi Julie, thanks for that note! I'm glad the stories were good and you liked the sites :). I'm sorry to hear the sidewalks are not well maintained, that is a bummer! The old cemetery is old :). And I can imagine those cobblestones would be tough on your powered chair. I can say many of our tours around the USA are accessible and have great sidewalks! Thank you for taking the tour :) Greg @ WalknTours
