Join us for a 90 min historical city tour of all 4 wards of uptown Charlotte. Our experienced guides can’t wait to show you our beautiful city and tell you all about its history. Expect to see historical churches, court houses, hotels, museums, theaters, homes dating back to as early as 1867 and more. For our sports fans we drive pass the Nascar Hall of Fame, the Spectrum Center, Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC), and Truist Field (home of the Charlotte Knights). Queen City Rides is Charlotte’s original eco-friendly cart tour and has been providing the best tours in Charlotte for over 7 years and we are so excited for you to join us! During our first visit to Charlotte during the July 4th weekend, my husband and I took a morning golf cart tour of Uptown. It was a nice tour despite really hot temps (low 90s in the morning). Our guide, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and quite funny - in a wry sense of humor kind of way. He shared key Charlotte history, including colonial hustory and he explained why the downtown area is called "Uptown." Jonathan also included some important black history in his presentation, which is also Charlotte history. Jonathan pointed out sites (historical and new), museums and restaurants. He even took time after our tour to share additional insights about the city. Great tour. I highly recommend!
