Ultimate Siem Reap Food Tour (10 Locals Tasting with Drinks & Transport)

Awesome food tour from local chives specialist to bbq beef to pancakes and spring rolls finished with noodle soup and dessert. All the food places were local and authentic with virtually no tourists. It was all amazing the pancakes and noodle soup stood out for me and my wife loved the Chives. Lux is a super awesome guide highly recommended.

The tour was very disappointing. Billed as 10 taste experiences, we were looking forward to sampling a variety of local food in different places. However, we were taken to just 3 places so we were not getting the expected varied experience. Yes, we had 10 dishes, but this was nothing like similar tours we have done where you sample different foods in different locations. Disappointing and not worth it.

Really good food tour with Lux, a great guide with a knowledge of local food history and good places to eat. We were taken to several places we would not have found by ourselves, just local stalls and shops selling often one specialty dish. Food was all brilliant and a warning, don’t eat for a few hours before! This tour gives you some tastes of things most people probably would not find in the main tourist areas.

Mr Nak took us on the food tour around Siem Reap. He accommodated well for my vegetarian friend and also gave me option to eat meat. There was so much food, I recommend sharing meals at the start, because we almost couldn't finish the last meal. Took a bjt longer than two hours, which was perfect!

The tour had many less tastings than we were told, we only tried 3 things. Our guide was nice but he barely spoke at all throughout the tour nor did he give much information about the food we tried, the history, or our surroundings. He also showed us a video of his dead puppies…no thank you. The little food we did have was delicious. The tuktuk was convenient and modern. We’ve done a lot of food tours and they have been very well-rounded, but for this one we wouldn’t recommend because of what we got versus the price we paid.

What a great evening. We definitely tasted more than 10 things and all from local restaurants, ending with some fried insects which look scary but tasted ok. Food felt very safe. Our guide was really informative about the food and about Cambodia.

Amazing experience with excellent guide. Heaps of food so bring an appetite. Bottled water is also supplied. Very convenient with hotel pickup and drop off provided.

We had a fun and informative tour tasting some scrumptious local foods, and even braving the fried insects. Going to where locals eat and shop was something we’d never have done without this tour. Quick confirmation of our booking and it was just the three of us. Recommend!

Highly recommend this tour for a quick taster of the local cuisine available in Siem Reap. A perfect amount of food - there is plenty if you are hungry, otherwise there is no pressure to finish everything. It is also a great way to see Siem Reap and get your bearings. A highlight was being taken to Road 60, a favourite among locals, which I don’t think we would have ventured to on our own as tourists. There were some other foods we wanted to try that we had heard of or seen and our guide accommodated that too. This tour is relatively quick - we were picked up at 5.30pm and dropped back at our hotel by 7.30pm, so plenty of time left in the day afterwards.
