Following some free time in the city for lunch, travel through the Adelaide Hills to the towering Mount Lofty Summit, where you will see the scenic span on the South Australian landscape from the city to the coast, then on to explore the delights of Australia's oldest German settlement, Hahndorf, and experience the charm of quaint, historic hills villages. Fuel Surcharge In response to ongoing Middle East developments impacting global fuel prices, a temporary $5 per person, per day fuel surcharge applies to new bookings from 29 April 2026. Itinerary
Travel down the Cultural Boulevard of Adelaide, and see the majestic buildings of the SA Museum, Art Gallery, State Library, Parliament House, Government House and the Universities
Located on the edge of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens, you will have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum.
Travel past the Botanic Gardens, taking in the National Wine Centre and Bicentennial Conservatory.
Free time to have a look at St Peter's Cathedral or the Adelaide Oval
After lunch (own expense), travel through the picturesque Adelaide Hills, and stop at Mount Lofty Summit. Take in the magnificent views across the city to the sea.
Stop at Beerenberg Farm Shop
Enjoy afternoon tea or beer tastings at the iconic Hahndorf Inn. Follow this with some free time exploring the main street of Hahndorf.

- The morning tour will stop at 12.00pm on King William Street near Rundle Mall. Passengers can choose to disembark here to get some lunch & make their own way back to the Adelaide Central Bus Station by 1pm or stay onboard the coach that will return to the ACBS at 12:15pm. Clients then have free time to purchase their own lunch before boarding at 1.15pm for the afternoon part of their full day tour.
- This tour combines the Adelaide City Highlights and the Adelaide Hills & Hahndorf tours. Lunch is not included.

Mike, our guide, was knowledgeable and interesting. The morning tour was a great way to see the highlights and sights of Adelaide. In the afternoon Mike took us to Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, just beautiful.

Fantastic great group what else can i say hahndorf lives up to tge german vibe the town is known for and the wineries in the barossa valley have to be the tastiest wines in all australia.

The guys from Adelaide Sightseeing were very good. The trips round the city and then out to Hahndorf were well worth it. The only complaint we have is that the Viatour agent told us that hotel pickup was not available for this tour. However, the driver said that, if we had booked directly with them, then hotel pickup was available. We had to take a taxi from our hotel to the Bus Terminal which cost us $15. They dropped us back at our hotel after the tour.
Good tour of the city, everything important covered. Hahndorf is worth experiencing—an appropriate time frame for both.

We thought it was one tour but it is actually two separate tours. The city driving tour starts and ends at the bus station. Then the driver goes and does hotel pickup for the Hahndorf tour. There is about 45 minutes between tours to get some lunch at the Central Market or Chinatown nearby. Our driver was Dave and he did a great job providing commentary while driving the bus through narrow city streets and winding mountain roads.
Roger was a great tour guide. The tour showed the best of Adelaide and Hahndorf, a must do for first time visitors.
Lovely views of Adelaide City and Hahndorf was fascinating. Really enjoyed the whole trip. Mike, the driver, was a mine of information.

Good variety. Excellent guide, Roger. Only reservation was that mini bus was too cramped. More space needed.
I saw so much of Adelaide then off to Hahndorf. What a beautiful village. The trip include a visit to the Beerenberg farm.

Started the tour on time and the host has abundance knowledge on Adelaide city as well Hahndorf and shared lot of information about Adelaide city and Hahndorf. Fantastic work by the host. He was kind, humble and knowledge. I will recommend this tour to all. We ended with a nice tea and cake at Hahndorf Inn. Thanks very much and I really enjoyed this tour.
