Stop 1: Podere Pellicciano – Organic Vineyard Walk Begin your experience with a walk through the organically farmed vineyards surrounding this family-run winery. Learn how native Tuscan grape varieties are cultivated with respect for the land, biodiversity and natural balance, while enjoying views of the Tuscan countryside. Duration: approx. 30 minutes Stop 2: Family Winery & Cellar Visit Continue with a guided visit to the cellar, led by the winery family or team. Discover how a family-driven approach and organic practices shape every step of the winemaking process, from harvest to aging, enhancing the expression of local grape varieties. Duration: approx. 45 minutes Stop 3: Organic Wine & Food Tasting Conclude the experience with a relaxed guided tasting of up to 10 organic wines, including whites, rosé and reds made from native Tuscan grapes, paired with extra virgin olive oil and traditional local products. Federico was lovely and very knowledgeable. Could answer all of our questions and gave us lots of info! The vineyard was beautiful and the tour of the cellar was very interesting too. Finally the tasting of course- wines were lovely and the brief description of them all was great. Overall a fabulous experience and would 100% recommend. We were worried about getting there from Pisa but we booked the train to San Miniato and then the family recommended a taxi.
Exceptional wine tasting experience! Nico lead us on a palate pleasing journey for seven wines, telling about the terra, grape variety and fermentation process for each one. We tried 2 whites, one rose and 4 reds; each was distinctive and delicious! We purchased 3 bottles and are looking forward to ordering more.
Despite the rain shortening the outside part of the tour, we had a wonderful time here! We actually did a wine tasting/food pairing with a private chef (minimum 4 people) and it was a great experience! Delicious food paired with excellent wines. If you are in the area I highly recommend doing this, and can buy their wine onsight!
To be redone absolutely!🩷 Staged tour inside the winery where you can taste the wines of their cellar and delicious dishes. The guys are really very nice and super organized so you don't miss anything.
Very kind mistress who dedicated us two hours of time giving us a lot of information on the cultivation of vines and olives. Very interesting wines for a small producer, you perceive the desire to give a quality product and to improve. Especially liked the chianti and triacche. Super oil.
The tour was lead by the owner, Fabio and he was fabulous. His English is good and he is well traveled. His wine know is vast and his demeanor was pleasant. The wines were excellent and we purchased some. The prices were reasonable.
Nico was our guide and he was really nice and had a lot of knowledge about winery. The winery was pretty small. The best thing was the wine tasting. All 5 loved it!
Thanks to Nicoló today we spent almost two hours tasting the wines of this excellent winery. The stories and especially the tastings of all their wines, convinced us 100%! Excellent also the platter of cold cuts and cheeses that accompanied our little trip. Beautiful experience that we recommend to everyone!

My fiancée and I visited Podere Pellicciano for a guided tour and wine tasting in June 2023. We found it to be a great experience -- for us, the perfect combination of expertise, humor, sincerity, and great wines. The tour was both interesting and fun, we learned a few new details about winemaking. The tasting experience was a perfect length, with a suitably relaxed pace. All eight wines we tasted were good in our books, as were the optional cold cuts and cheeses. We decided to buy a bottle of the Malvasia Nera ("Egola"), which we felt was the best wine of the bunch, as well as a bottle of their "Cimba" rosé, but Podere Pellicciano also provides shipping if you're looking to buy bigger quantities. Also had a good time just chatting with the other participants, who happened to be two other couples, from the US and Canada.
