Terrible experience!

The instructions from Viator tours were difficult to follow. There were too many emails sent, and too many steps to follow to access our tickets. I was unaware that the audio guide could only be used through the Vistor app which I did not have available. We needed to repurchase admission tickets at the Leaning Tower site in order to gain access to the tower. I paid twice for the event and I’m very disappointed. A refund should be offered to me.

Acceptable

Overall, we enjoyed the day — but several issues with the experience are worth noting. Despite purchasing a skip-the-line pass, we found no venues that actually honored it. We also couldn’t get the audio app to function properly, which was the most frustrating part of the visit, particularly since we’d encountered the same issue the day before in Florence. Additionally, a wall reportedly part of the Pisa Complex was not covered by our ticket. While the company does respond to messages, none of these concerns were resolved.

Pisa a wow

I was unsure if it would be worth while to see with so many places to visit. You cannot go to Italy without going to the leaning tower of Pisa. Booked night before as everything was sold out but Viator had tickets which was a life saver. Worth the visit it’s a good 1/2 a day to see everything.

Do not buy through Viator!!!

We were 15 minutes late due to being stuck on a bus and they wouldn’t let us enter. Do not buy this through Viator! They are cheaper and easily available from Pisa and can change the time there if you run into a problem. Total scam this Viator thing is.

Excellent flat

The entrance is direct to all the buildings, definitely worth knowing beyond the tower. The staff treatment pretty good m.

Called me at 05:50am to...

Called me at 05:50am to tell me my ticket time had been changed for our 10:30am entrance. This then prevented us from going into the tower as we were unable to change our train time so we were late and missed the new entrance time. If time hadn’t been abruptly changed we would’ve made it

Figuring out the ticket...

Figuring out the ticket vouchers was the toughest part. Once that was sorted, everything went very smoothly. Had a great day exploring at our own pace.

QR Code not scan code needed

I was a little difficult to locate a code on the pdf. I didn’t realize I was supposed to be looking for a QR Code. If so, it would have been a breeze. It took us 20 minutes to figure it out. I called the help line and was disconnected. I tried to find the text help line without luck. I thought I was taken advantage of for the 20 minutes it took me to figure out all I needed was a QR Code. A little stressful. But otherwise it was amazing!

Pisa

Great experience at the Tower of Pisa. Not too many people at this time. Just we thought the city of Pisa would be prettier outside the monuments. But really to see at least once in his life
