Pienza is the village most renowned and greater artistic importance of the whole of the Val d'Orcia. Much of the significant historical and artistic heritage of Pienza is concentrated in the evocative square dedicated to Pope Pius II. It still remains one of the most significant examples of rational urban planning in the Italian Renaissance.
San Gimignano is a compact Medieval town, with ancient stone buildings and fourteen tower houses competing for attention. It’s one of the best preserved walled towns in Tuscany, Italy. The gorgeous Piazza Cisterna has a picturesque stone well at its centre. Meanwhile the adjacent Piazza Duomo is filled with architectural details that can keep you enthralled for hours. It’s a mixture of the romantic and the historic that appeals to every traveller.
The amazing Tuscany, among the rolling hills and small lakes on the border with Umbria region, you will come across this ancient town, Montepulciano, which stands on a hill overlooking the Val di Chiana and val d’Orcia. This is a town which is rich in history and art, set in the agricultural landscape of Siena, the ideal place to relax, but also to live in contact with nature, surrounded by gentle hills covered with olive groves, vineyards and forests of pine and chestnut trees.
Brunello di Montalcino, alongside Chianti, is arguably the most prestigious of all Italian wines. If you are considering this DO IT!!!! It is worth every penny- even more!!!! They treated us like we were royalty!!! Our driver and guides know everything, stayed longer so we could shop. Truly they were so much more than guides we walked away with friends!! They had the day planed out perfectly to see Rome in a day. We started with the Spanish steps, then pantheon, trevi fountain, colosseum, lunch, driving tour, Vatican museum, st Peter Mr basilica, and shopping in the most luxurious area. I could not imagine doing Rome any other way! This is the Safest way to experience the city in comfort. They know all the scams and ensure safety and advise on areas to watch for and what areas are safe to enjoy. The van was so nice, so comfortable, air conditioning was not needed for our day since the weather was perfect. The van had water and sanitizer for each passenger . Our tour guide was able to spot the fake tour guides. A tour guide in Italy is a professional job, that requires study, training, and licensing. They have professional credentials and badges that allow private access to the colosseum and Vatican. He was friends with so many workers who allowed us in and out of areas. He knew every fact every detail all the history you didn’t learn in school! His English was perfect and his personality made they day more fun than you can imagine. They took so many photos of us and the photos were also amazing!! These guys set the bar for excellence. If we are ever able to come back to Rome - we would book them again and again!!
