• Lucerne Pickup – Flexible Start (08:00 / 08:30 / 09:00 / 09:30 / 10:00 / 10:30) Your private tour begins with hotel pickup anywhere in Lucerne at a time of your choice. Your local driver will meet you directly at your hotel lobby, Airbnb, or agreed meeting point. Once onboard your premium vehicle, the journey immediately turns scenic as you leave the city and head towards the heart of the Swiss Alps. From the very first kilometers, enjoy panoramic lake views and alpine landscapes as your adventure begins at a relaxed, personalized pace.
• Continue deeper into the Alps to Grindelwald, known as the “Village of the Eiger.” Surrounded by dramatic peaks and glaciers, this stop offers time for sightseeing, photos, coffee and enjoy lunch on a terrace overlooking the glaciers or optional mountain activities. • Recommended experiences: First Cable Car & Cliff Walk by Tissot – short panoramic ascent (optional, not included). Glacier Gorge (Gletscherschlucht) – accessible canyon walk through ancient rock walls and turquoise meltwater streams (optional, not included). Grindelwald offers pure alpine tranquility — mountain air, wildflower meadows, and endless photo opportunities.
• Travel into the iconic Lauterbrunnen Valley, home to 72 waterfalls and towering cliffs. Visit Staubbach Falls, explore the village, or enjoy a quiet walk through the valley floor. This stop provides a peaceful contrast to the alpine resorts and is often the highlight of the day.
• Explore the Trümmelbach Falls, Europe’s only underground glacial waterfalls, hidden inside the mountain. The roaring water from the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau glaciers cuts through ten levels of tunnels and galleries. This is a rare opportunity to witness the raw, living power of melting ice transforming into thunderous rivers. • Please note that Trümmelbach Falls operate seasonally and are typically open from April to November, depending on weather and snow conditions. Outside of this period, the waterfalls are closed to visitors due to safety and winter conditions.
• Arrive in Interlaken, the famous resort town nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Take a relaxed walk through the town, enjoy lake views, or visit selected viewpoints overlooking the surrounding mountains. • Walk along Höhematte Park with its postcard view of the Jungfrau massif. • Enjoy coffee, Swiss chocolate, or a short photo stop before heading deeper into the Alps. • Your driver will adapt the stop based on your interests and pace.
• After your visit to Interlaken, Grindenwald and Lauterbrunnen, your driver will meet you at the agreed point for a comfortable and direct return transfer back to Lucerne.

This was a most wonderful day trip to the mountains from Lucerne. We visited Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald as well as several other interesting stops along the way. Our driver knew the area very well and knew where to stop for the best Vistas. I had initially thought I would take the train to Interlaken but this was so much better as we would not have seen nearly as much. It is truly one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on. Our driver was able to explain so much about the history and geography of the area. He even knew where to take us for chocolate when we needed some.

We had an incredible private day tour across Switzerland with Nicky, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. A wonderful day exploring the villages and natural wonders near Lucerne. Pavel did a great job and re-worked the schedule around incoming rainy weather. We had a lot of fun and saw most of what we hoped to see. Our two waterfall hikes/walks were the favorite part of our day, but stopping to buy local cheese from a local villager was special too. Highly recommend this company.
