This was an excellent tour. Katie, our tour guide was wonderful. She took us to several of the historic spots in the area and gave us tons of information about each stop. We were not rushed as she wanted us to get the most from our tour. If you get Katie as your guide you will have a wonderful and blessed day. Would highly recommend the Warrenton/Fort Stevens tour/Lewis and Clark tour.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m so glad you enjoyed your Tour of Warrenton and Fort Stevens with Onward Adventures. Warrenton and Fort Stevens are full of incredible history, from the Peter Iredale Shipwreck and the Columbia River to the black sand and magnetite along the coast. I love helping guests slow down, explore these places, and understand why this area is so special. I also appreciate you mentioning the Lewis and Clark portion of the day. When we visit Fort Clatsop, the excellent staff and interpreters there provide their own historical tours and programs, and I’m always grateful that my guests get to experience their knowledge firsthand. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. First we would like to thank Katie and Bill for the nice tour that included a visit to Ft. Clatsop, a beach, and several other sites that we really enjoyed seeing. It was great to visit the area where Lewis and Clark stayed. We also enjoyed the salmon and crackers at one our stops. We even got the recipe! Overall, the tour was educational and fun.

I loved this day with Katie, who is friendly and relaxed. The forest walk was calming. The ranger talk was informative.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Tour of Warrenton. This small town of only 7,000 people is home to two incredible state parks we explored together — Fort Stevens State Park and Fort Clatsop. Along the way we learned about Native history, World Wars, shipwrecks, black sand beaches, and even spotted elk and bald eagles. This has honestly become one of my favorite tours to guide because it showcases so many sides of the Oregon North Coast in just one experience. Thank you for supporting a small local business like Onward Adventures. Your support truly means a lot. - Katie

Thanks for the review, Warrenton is my favorite, but when you get lucky with just a few people that are on tour, it is nice to at least bring you to the Astoria Column in Astoria. You two were wonderful. Thank you! Katie
Katie was great! A native of the area, you could tell she really loves this place, and is proud of the history here. We really enjoyed seeing the shipwreck and the ocean, as well as learning about Lewis and Clark and walking in the beautiful forest. Our tour guide, Katie Earl (a native of Astoria), was exceptional and provided us with a deep understanding of the area's rich history and nature.
