Fascinating tour of the volcanic landscape in Timanfaya National Park. The tour guide was very informative and fluent in English, German and French. The stop off at the wine tasting place was quite underwhelming but there is a gift shop with some lovely jewellery.
The tour was a great way to learn quickly a lot about the fascinating island of Lanzarote. We had an informative and witty guide. And everything was in good time. I would warmly recommend this tour to anyone who prefers to see as much as possible in half a day. For my short stay on the island this was perfect!
The tour itself was absolutely fantastic. Winery Visit???? Don’t book this tour if you’re looking for a wine tasting experience. There was no tour of a vineyard or any of the wine making process ( it was basically a stop at a souvenir shop), very poor as the reason we chose this tour was because we wanted to see and experience the wines of Lanzarote. The coach ride through the national park, the lava flows and the volcanic remains made this tour……. It was breathtaking! The tour guide, Nellie, was a wonderful lady from Lanzarote and had so much passion for her heritage ( only problem was that she tended to repeat her facts over and over again), lovely person though.
