Ideal for those who want to go on tours in Manaus, MUSA was created in January 2009, Musa occupies 100 hectares of the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, of the National Institute for Amazonian Research – INPA, in Manaus. An area of native terrestrial forest that has been passionately studied for over 60 years. The results of these researches, gathered in catalogs on topics such as plants, birds and frogs, tell what Musa wants to show the visitor.

Long drive in traffic from the cruise ship dock. The park is 100 square km of protected jungle habitat. Trails take you to various tree groves, a pond, and enclosed buildings housing snakes, spiders, etc. Did not see monkeys, sloths, caimans.

You can take a collective from the central hotel and drop you at the door. A walk to know from the heights (it has a viewpoint 33 meters high) the imposing of the Amazon. Also that day I was caught by the rain and I was able to experience the humidity of the forest in full. If you're a blood donor, there's a discount on admission. They rent boots if you're not wearing proper shoes.
