This excursion was fairly priced and well worth it. The guide ( Gisselle) and driver ( Mateos) were awesome and the driver sang a few songs in Italian. He is truly talented! They took us on the very narrow windy road to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi and stopped at a Limoncello factory along the way.
We arrived early for our tour at the Napes port. We did not see our driver. I called the # and was given the wrong # of our tour guide. She was able to get us through to the right tour guide. Was on the phone for about 40 minutes and still couldn’t find our tour bus no one was holding any signs like they said. Long story short we missed the tour. We were told by the driver we should get our money refunded. We were so disappointed as this was the tour we were so looking to. Called Viator twice for our refund and they refused. Was happy with Viator on the other excursions. But after this will never use them again. Would give a -0 review if I could. Very disappointing.
According to our port security service, you arrived at the pickup location 27 minutes late and were looking for a “Viator” sign. Please note that in such large ports, Viator works with hundreds of suppliers, all of whom greet mutual guests with their own signs in order to avoid confusion. We repeatedly attempted to reach you using the phone number provided at the time of booking, but it remained in auto-reply mode. We also have no record of calls from you to any of our emergency, tour coordinator, or customer care numbers. Therefore, we cannot confirm which numbers you were calling or which location you were searching. When booking future activities, we strongly recommend paying close attention to the easy and clear pickup information, which helped us collect 412 of your fellow cruisers that morning, with only 2 passengers missing. Each of the above facts can be verified, which is why your refund request has been respectfully declined. Safe and happy travels!
Everything was smooth from pickup to return at Naples port, which I appreciated. However, the schedule is very tight, and you move quickly through each stop. The views are amazing, but the pace doesn’t allow much time to relax.
The tour gives you a taste of the Amalfi Coast, and the scenery is honestly breathtaking. But it’s more of a quick overview than a deep visit. I sometimes wished I could stay longer in each town and just sit and enjoy.
I remember laughing with my friends on the bus, tired but excited, watching the coast unfold like a film. Each town had its own energy—one calm, one busy, one somewhere in between—but we were always gently pushed forward to the next moment. It felt slightly rushed at times, especially in crowded streets, but the shared experience made it unforgettable.
The Amalfi Coast is even more beautiful in real life, especially the drive between towns. But we always felt like we had to keep an eye on the time. Each stop was a bit shorter than we would have liked. Still, a memorable and scenic day overall.
We made nice memories as a family, especially seeing the coastline from above. However, the day felt quite packed and we didn’t get many long breaks. Some walking areas were crowded, but the guide kept everything under control.
