Amazing tour, fantastic scenery. Brilliant for those who like to experience nature. Even though it was a very hot day, the hike was very rewarding and the final sunset stop was magical. Our tour guide David was very knowledgable and a highly skilled driver on those tricky mountain roads. We were a small group of 8 guests which gave the tour nice cosy feel. Highly recomended.
Booked this trip a couple of days ahead. The tour was print and very well organised with clear comms ahead of the trip about timings and what I needed to bring. The food was lovely, I sometimes worry that it will be a tourist trap…. It wasn’t. Our guide David was super friendly and knew alot about the island and how it got to be. Group size was small, just eight of us, so really easy and later back. Really recommend.
Had an amazing day trip, great to see different part of the island. David the guide was very friendly- must do as part of holiday.
Had an absolutely fantastic time on the Volcanoes tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guides, Celeste and Daylos. Daylos picked us up, arriving on time and gave us a warm welcome. Exceptional from start to finish. He always had something interesting to tell us, whether it was about the island, its history, the volcanic landscape or local flora/fauna. He has a brilliant personality, warm, welcoming, kind, funny, and full of energy which made the whole day even more enjoyable. Celeste was equally welcoming and brought a wealth of knowledge to the tour. The two of them had a great dynamic together and made everyone feel included and looked after throughout the day. They were well prepared, regularly encouraged us to stay hydrated, and planned plenty of toilet stops, so the day was comfortable from beginning to end. The food was incredible the banana quiche was especially delicious and I have a new found love for honey rum. There were loads of fantastic photo opportunities, and Daylos went out of his way to take photos for everyone, making sure people could enjoy the scenery without worrying about missing the moment. I particularly enjoyed his choice of music in the minibus. Great price, excellent atmosphere, well looked after, perfect group size. A genuinely memorable day and an easy 12/10. I couldn't recommend this tour, or these guides, more highly!
This trip is such an excellent experience! You are picked up from the door of your hotel, and looked after from start to finish. We had Daylos and Celeste as our guides and they couldn't have been more lovely. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the island, the plants and animals and the history of the volcanos. They with made everyone feel at home and we all had such a great laugh throughout the day. The actual excursion was incredible. We were taken around the island to several different stops to see breathtaking views, learn about the island, and were fed an excellent meal at a beautiful little hotel up in the mountains. Each stop was more beautiful than the last, if that's possible! The hike itself and the sunset was the most incredible experience, the views are breathtaking! 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you! 😊
We had the most amazing day with our guide David. From start to finish he made the experience great. This day made our holiday! Thank you, David!
It was a really nice tour! We've got to learn a lot from David. Due to the possibility of forrest fires we couldn't do the planned hike, this did not stop david to take us on another adventure. All together we had a splendid time.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solo traveller? This is the tour to book! Travelling solo can sometimes feel a bit daunting, but the Volcano Heart Tour with Climbo was one of the best experiences of my trip to Gran Canaria. From the moment the tour started, I felt welcome and included. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Standing at the volcanic viewpoints, watching the sunlight burst through the clouds over the mountains, was a moment I’ll never forget. Every stop seemed to get better than the last, and the scenery was simply incredible. The biggest highlight, though, was our tour guide. He was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Gran Canaria. He made everyone feel comfortable, especially those of us travelling alone, and his enthusiasm made the whole day unforgettable. He is a real credit to Climbo and deserves 5 stars on his own. The tour was also amazing value for money. You get to see parts of the island you simply wouldn’t experience on your own, with fascinating stories and plenty of opportunities for incredible photos. If you’re travelling solo—or with friends or family—don’t think twice. Book this tour. It was the highlight of my holiday, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Gran Canaria. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – unforgettable views, an outstanding guide, and memories that will last a lifetime. 🌋☀️
David our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the local areas surrounding the volcano. The tour group was small and fun to be with. The lunch was lovely and the sunset views were insane! What a beautiful way to visit Gran Caneria.
Really easy and smooth pickup directly from our hotel at Riu Palace Maspalomas. Our guide David was really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Lovely small group and the whole day felt really personal. A couple of small changes due to the hot weather but David quickly moved things around and we had a great visit to the caves instead of the planned hike. Definitely a must do while in Gran Canaria!
