Join us on an award winning, action-packed RIB ride along the stunning East Sussex coastline. Treat yourselves to a magical day out and experience our view of this fantastic part of the World! The trip takes us across Seaford Bay, passing Seaford Head before reaching the Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven. We’ll then continue along the Sussex Heritage Coast towards Birling Gap and the Belle Toute Lighthouse. However, the excitement doesn’t end there…! We’ll then venture even further east to the base of the world famous Beachy Head Lighthouse. It lies approximately seven miles to the east of our home in Newhaven Port and stands an impressive 33m tall. The iconic red and white stripes look resplendent when close up. There’ll be plenty of time for photos before heading home a little further out to sea. In the summer months, we have regular sightings of Harbour Porpoise and occasionally Common Seals close to the Beachy Head Lighthouse itself.

Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 m (531 ft) above sea level. The highlight of the tour is to see the iconic red and white striped lighthouse standing 33m tall at the base of the cliff.
Birling Gap is a beautiful and tranquil enclosed pebble beach set below the dramatic backdrop of the Seven Sisters cliffs. We'll see it's famous metal steps allowing visitors to descend to the beach. Close by are the historic Coastguard Cottages which are regrettably being lost to the sea.
Built in 1832 and decommissioned in 1902, a tea-shop, a home, part-destroyed during the second world war and lovingly rebuilt in the 50's. Owned and filmed by the BBC, moved due to erosion - and now, beautifully restored and renovated.
The Seven Sisters are the famous chalk cliffs that form part of the Sussex Heritage Coast. It is an incredibly popular location for locals and international visitors who come to experience this magnificent stretch of coastline between Seaford and Eastbourne. Regrettably, it is slowly being eroded by the elements. It’s estimated that 30-40cm of the coastal edge is lost to the sea each year and we'll spend time on the trip to discuss this in more detail. It is a haven for wildlife, especially migratory birds who enjoy the temperate British summers.
The beach was commonly used by smugglers in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. It wasn't uncommon for there to be upwards of 200 of them on the beach at that time. The coastguard cottages at Cuckmere Haven were built shortly after the National Coastguard Service was founded in 1822 in order to stop the smuggling. They are easily one of the most photographed dwellings in the UK today.

Right from the start & helping with life-saving gear John was really friendly, professional & helpful. He wonderfully & safely accommodated my disabled wife onto & later off the boat, as well as being available to help on the ramp. The ride was fun & exciting. John explained what to expect and stopped several times to knowledgeably explain all the items of interest on the coast as well as some history of each place. He asked for & suitably answered any questions & engaged with all passengers. He didn’t rush off but stayed to check we were all OK. The whole trip was an exciting & enjoyable experience. Brilliant

It was fun enjoyable experience with great tour leader , the views were amazing , the speed of the boat was not for the weak people but gave thrilling chilling vibes 😀 really amazing just sadly too short I think, the time flew too fast. The price is high but worth of the Experience 🤩

It was an fantastic boat trip. The views from the water were incredible. We visited the Seven Sisters, Birling Gap and Beachy Head. We also got very close to the lighthouse. John was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and lots of fun, whist also being professional and mindful of his passengers safety. Highly recommended.

A fabulous 90 minute trip on a 12 seater rib starting in Newhaven and ending at Beachy Head Lighthouse, Eastbourne. Fronted by the hugely professional team of John (the main man) and Dom (the driver) with great emphasis on safety…without at any time making it boring! John is highly charismatic and made it fun and memorable for all on board. Highly recommended!
Pretty sure Dom would argue that he was the main man but I'll take the honours on this occasion...! Safety is always at the forefront of everything we do and by managing it properly, we can put even the most nervous passengers at ease. Our history and the experience gained within the voluntary emergency services proves invaluable whilst we're out on the water so it's a real privilege to be able to show you such a wonderful environment. A really excellent experience and I live locally and had never seen the coast from the sea so learnt a lot and enjoyed a thrilling ride to see the Seven (8) sisters and the lighthouse. Excellent guide who made us all feel very welcome and was very personable and really made the trip extra special. Would definitely do another tour.

I booked this trip as a birthday treat for family. What a fabulous time we had with the youngest ones not being on a fast boat before. John was brilliant from the start making sure we all had our life jackets on and explained all the safety bits clearly. John spent time getting to know who was on his boat asking us all our names. Throughout the trip John spent time informing us of our beautiful coastline really getting us all involved and making the trip fun. He was particularly fab with my youngest grandchild who was only 5 he got him involved which he loved, answering with some very funny replies. John also amazingly remembered all our names throughout the trip. There was lots of laughter and smiles and we all loved the exhilaration of the boat. All In all we had a fabulous time and we didn't want it to end. A great trip for young and old. Great birthday memories made. Thank you John we will be back.
