Ariccia is one of the oldest towns in the area, dating back to the 6th century BC. Small and pretty, it's a very enjoyable place with narrow lanes, squares, shops, restaurants and cafes. Here you can taste the very famous porchetta of Ariccia.
Up on the Alban Hills, only 20km outside Rome, there is the picturesque town of Frascati. Famous for its Villas and white wine, Frascati is probably the most important town of the Roman Castles. Walking around this little town it's amazing as well as the stunning panoramic view of Rome.
Located on the brick of a volcanic crater, CAstel GAndolfo has been elected one of the most beatyful villages in Italy, thanks also to its splendid position overlooking Lake Albano. Famous for The Papal Palace which has been thee summer residence of the Popes since the 17th century.
