Together we will discover the hill of broken vases. The Romans created an artificial hill with pieces of vessels that were used to transport olive oil, fish sauce and wine. Over the centuries, what was a dump of broken vases became a hill 40 meters high and 700 meters in circumference. It is estimated that the hill was made thanks to the terracottas of around 50 million vases.

Alex (our driver) was absolutely incredible! This tour was everything we could have wanted! We got to see all the main attractions Rome could offer, but also had some small hidden gems that made the tour even that much more enjoyable! The “surprise” at noon was especially fun! We even stumbled across a vintage car meetup that added a little something extra to the trip. Not only was Alex a great driver/tour guide, but he also doubled as a professional photographer and captured some amazing moments of us in an iconic car that just screams ROME!

Superb experience to visit Rome in a mythical car!!! Our driver Libero was a great driver and especially an excellent guide. He made us discover beautiful places always embellished with rich and exciting explanations. We made this excursion on our first day in Rome, which allowed us to return to some places the following days to deepen the discovery according to the information given by our Libero guide. We recommend this activity in Rome.
This tour was a highlight of our trip. We did the tour with two cars, one parent and one kid in each car. The vintage cars were so fun to cruise around the city, especially to explore the narrow, winding streets filled with local character. My son and I had Daria as our driver and she was phenomenal! She was delightful to talk with and full of knowledge. She even left me with shopping and restaurant recommendations and those were fabulous, too!
Alex greeted us and instantly made you feel at ease, which is very important when you are spending that long in a confined space! His knowledge and passion for Rome is extensive and interesting. We were quite relaxed about where we went and we saw some parts and places of interest we would never had ventured to. Highly recommend the tour and particular gratitude to Alex for making it such a memorable experience.
