Description
The light of Saint Nicholas is a set of three intervententions that, through different artistic languages, review the key events in the history of the Parish, projects a new vision on its emblematic baroque dome and honour our patron saint. The interactive exhibition "The Heartbeat of Saint Nicholas" traces the history of the building and the place where it stands since the times of Roman Valentia. The audiovisual installation "Lux ex Oriente" is a creative interpretation of the symbols that characterise the iconic figure of Saint Nicholas. The immersive projection "Homage to Beauty" is a fresh, respectful and documented look that puts the light, music and 21st century technology at the service of the timeless and inspiring beauty of the baroque ornamentation of the Valencian Sistine Chapel. The projections are shown hourly starting at 11:00. Visits will be allowed until 1 hour before the church closes.

Takes about an hour. Really enjoyed it. It is the most beautiful church in a small space. The guided tour came with it after the show. A must see and a hidden gem. Seriously. We almost missed the entrance lol.
The experience was extraordinary. The light show was awesome and the art, paintings are just mind boggling.
If you are in Valencia you MUST have seen this! That's all I'm going to say about that because you have to find out for yourself.
The ticket is very expensive for a church, an exaggeration. The church is beautiful and the video mapping show is very beautiful I think it's worth it, but still very expensive
If you are going to Valencia for a weekend or you are passing through it while you are on a tour of Spain, you should definitely go and visit this church located in the Carmen district a few hundred meters from the Cathedral. Said that the whole church is worthy of attention, the vault is remarkable. We highly recommend the show which is repeated several times a day of the light games on the paintings; it lasts about 15 minutes and is beautiful. Inexplicably, in the "Lonely Planet pocket" dedicated to Valencia it is not mentioned at all.
Very beautiful ceiling in a church that far surpasses the actual cathedral for interest and beauty. Not sure how much the light show added to it. Some of the lights are very beautiful and some of the interesting bits are highlighted, but you'll get a lot from it even without the lights. Some tips... If you have tickets you can skip the queue. This isn't obvious, we had to ask. And don't sit down for the light show, stand at the back for the best view and the least strain on your neck.
Very nice church, at 17 we also witnessed the light show that lasts 15 minutes. The ticket price includes an audio guide.
They are right to call it the Sistine Chapel of Spain, it is wonderful! From the outside, nothing much, but inside you are kidnapped by so much beauty! We attended the light show and it was fantastic! It seemed to participate in the creation of the chapel!! The price is worth the candle! Highly recommended!
If I hadn't put the address for this church in Google maps I would have walked past it. Its down a tiny alleyway, and almost looks like an entrance to a supermarket. But when you get inside....wow!!!!. I was in time for the light show, and I've got to say it was amazing. The church itself seems very small compared to some, but it really does pack in some treasures. I was lucky and walked straight in with no queue, but when I came out it was a different story. I'm glad I got there when I did. The light show is definitely the highlight of the visit, and also the story of St Nicholas (Santa)
