Itinerary

180 min

The day begins with morning check-in and boarding in Cancun. As guests arrive, the team will organize the group and complete the departure process before starting the journey. Once everyone is seated, transportation will depart toward Chichen Itza. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, giving travelers time to rest, enjoy the road, and get ready for a day centered on Maya history, cenote swimming, regional food, and colonial culture.

180 min

Before entering the archaeological zone, the route may include a brief stop near points of interest located close to Chichen Itza. Upon arrival, the group will leave the vehicle and walk with the guides toward the main access area. The guides will assist travelers with orientation, instructions, and useful details before the visit begins. Inside Chichen Itza, guests will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 1 hour. During this part of the experience, the guide will explain the importance of this ancient Maya city, its architecture, its cultural meaning, and the stories connected to its most representative structures. After the guided section, travelers will have around 1 hour of free time to explore the site independently. This time can be used to take photos, walk through the area, visit souvenir stands, or purchase a drink or snack.

60 min

The experience continues with a visit to Suytun Cenote, one of the most recognized cenotes in the region. For the ancient Maya, cenotes were sacred natural formations connected to spiritual beliefs and the underworld, making this stop a meaningful part of the route. The transfer to the cenote takes approximately 45 minutes. Once there, travelers will have time to swim in its cool, clear water and enjoy the distinctive natural setting that has made Suytun such a memorable place in the Yucatan Peninsula. Bring your swimsuit so you can enjoy the swimming portion of this stop.

120 min

The next visit takes place at Ik Kil Cenote, a beautiful natural site surrounded by high stone walls, hanging vegetation, and a powerful open-air atmosphere. During this stop, travelers will have approximately 45 minutes to swim, cool off, and enjoy the surroundings. After the cenote visit, the group will continue to a nearby restaurant close to the cenote area for a buffet lunch. Guests can enjoy a selection of regional specialties and traditional Mexican dishes before continuing with the rest of the day.

60 min

The final visit of the tour takes place in Valladolid, a colonial city in Yucatan known for its colorful streets, peaceful rhythm, traditional architecture, and local identity. Travelers will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes of free time to explore the area at their own pace. You may walk through the streets, take photos, enjoy the atmosphere, and experience a glimpse of everyday life in one of the region’s most charming towns.

180 min

After the visit to Valladolid, the guide will confirm the meeting time and location to board the transportation again. Once the full group is back on board, the return trip toward Cancun and the Riviera Maya will begin. The drive back takes approximately 3 hours. This final part of the journey gives travelers time to relax after a full day visiting Chichen Itza, swimming in cenote waters, enjoying regional food, and discovering the colonial charm of Valladolid. When the vehicle arrives at the assigned drop-off point, the team will let guests know so they can leave the transportation safely and conclude the experience.

The tour i was on was...

The tour i was on was mostly in Spanish. There was a little English translation, but not enough. I am learning Spanish and was happy to hear, but the guide would forget to say important thibgs like safety, time if return from activities, location of meeting point in English. A few people went missing for a long time because the tour guide hadn't explained things properly.

Not recommended!

Bad experience. At the check-in point the bus arrives late after a 15 min wait. Due to a problem I had previously with my suitcases, they were leaving me on foot, even in grumpy and threatening ways. Little time for site visits and long waits to eat. The tour is convenient because it combines multiple visits on the same day, but if you have the chance to visit these places on your own, do it!

Complete rip off

Spent most of the day on the bus or being shuffled through overpriced gift shops. Of the 13 hour day we spent 40 minutes at Chichen Itza. It was a complete waste of an entire vacation day.

Great Service & many attractions

Very friendly travel companions who were very attentive and responded to individual requests. You've seen a lot in one day. As a result, time is unfortunately limited at any location. Didn't bother us though - we could see and take everything that was important to us.

Stunning place and excellent service

The experience at Chichen Itza was amazing. The site is very well preserved and the amount of vegetation around gives it a mystical touch. It was quite hot so we recommended cap and water but the transport was well air conditioned and everything very well organised. A must-see tour.

Truly one of the wonders of the world!

Chichén Itzá is absolutely awe-inspiring. It’s easy to see why it’s considered a New Wonder of the World. The symmetry of the pyramid, the echoes in the ball court, the sacred cenote — every corner has a story. We ended the tour swimming in a beautiful cenote nearby — clear blue water, hanging vines, and peaceful energy. The contrast between ancient history and natural beauty made this day so special.

A powerful journey through history and nature

Visiting Chichén Itzá was one of the most meaningful travel experiences I’ve ever had. Standing in front of the majestic Kukulkán pyramid, a World Wonder, gave me chills. The site is full of fascinating history and architectural genius. Afterwards, we swam in a nearby cenote, and it was absolutely magical — cool, crystal-clear water in a peaceful natural setting. This tour was the perfect combination of culture, adventure, and natural beauty.
