Just got back from the Godfather Movie Tour through Savoca, Forza d’Agrò and a traditional Sicilian meal, and it was everything I hoped for. From the very beginning, the experience was the perfect mix of film nostalgia and authentic Sicilian charm. Walking through the streets of Savoca and stepping into Bar Vitelli felt surreal. You could really imagine the scenes playing out right in front of you. Our guide was brilliant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loved both the film and the local history. He shared so many interesting stories, not just about the filming but about the villages themselves, which made it all feel really personal and meaningful. The timing of the day was just right. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore, take photos and enjoy the atmosphere. The meal at the end was absolutely delicious. Fresh, local food served in a lovely setting, with a relaxed vibe and great company. It felt like the perfect way to end the day. Whether you’re a big fan of The Godfather or just want to explore some beautiful, peaceful villages away from the crowds, I couldn’t recommend this experience enough. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
