The Brotte family has been passing down know-how since 1931 and today, be part of the adventure by coming to discover their secrets. A tasting of 3 wines awaits you, as well as a visit to the Brotte Wine Museum! Museum created in 1972 by Jeanne Brotte, grandmother of the current owner. This Museum is unique in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it will teach you everything you need to know about vines and wine, and the history of the Brotte family!

In the heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Brotte Wine Museum traces the history of the controlled appellations of origin of the Rhône Valley, as well as of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape cru. Within, a unique route, conceived as a promenade, the visitor travels from surprises to surprises thanks to an immersive and interactive scenography. To marvel, get away from it all, learn about the art of vines and wine, this is the experience offered by the Musée du Vin Brotte to wine lovers and enthusiasts. This ticket will guarantee you a visit to our sommeliers. In a warm and relaxed atmosphere, they lead a tasting of our best vintages, Domaines and Châteaux and of our plot selections.

The museum is laughable. Four photos, one audio, and that's it. And the tasting was very scarce, four shots, without changing glasses or cleaning, .....; VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Hola, Lamentamos sinceramente que su visita no haya estado a la altura de sus expectativas. Respecto al museo, nuestra intención es ofrecer una experiencia de descubrimiento centrada en la historia de la viticultura de Châteauneuf-du-Pape, nuestros terroirs y el saber hacer de nuestra familia. El recorrido dura aproximadamente 45 minutos e incluye diferentes soportes explicativos, así como una degustación comentada por uno de nuestros sumilleres. Lamentamos que este formato no haya respondido a lo que esperaba. En cuanto a la degustación, las cantidades servidas corresponden a una dosis de cata estándar, pensada para descubrir y comparar los diferentes vinos en las mejores condiciones. Asimismo, utilizamos la misma copa durante toda la degustación, ya que esta es la práctica habitual y recomendada en una cata de descubrimiento. Entre cada vino, la copa conserva una pequeña cantidad del vino anterior o se enjuaga con el siguiente vino, lo que permite apreciar mejor la evolución de la degustación sin alterar las características de los vinos presentados. An experience not to miss if you are in the region. The tour was very informative and interesting with the aid of an audio device. This means you can go at your own pace. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. The wine tasting at the end was delicious and the young lady was very passionate and knowledgeable about each one. We came away knowing so much more about the process of the wine from grape to bottle. We definitely recommend this tour.

With an audio guide we made the very interesting free visit of the museum that allowed us to discover the specificities of this vineyard. At the end we tasted 3 wines. Thanks to Coralie for her explanations and sharing her knowledge.

A very nice discovery. We were very well received. The museum route is very well organized. Audio guides allow you to learn how wonderful wines are raised. The visit ends with a tasting of several Chateauneuf of the Pope in the company of a great connoisseur.
