The Big Wave Rock Private Day Tour

Description
This is a Private tour for you or your group only. The highlight of this tour for many is the beautiful natural feature of Wave Rock. The Wheatbelt is a massive agricultural region extending from Geraldton (about 400km north of Perth) to Esperance (around 800km southeast of Perth). This full day private tour includes heritage towns and many natural attractions all located in the central Wheatbelt Region directly east of Perth. I offer a lot of flexibility in this tour. If you prefer to stay a little longer at the expense of another location thats totally fine. The day can offer many things to different people. There are a lot of changes in landscape simply because we cover a lot of ground in approximately 10 – 12 hours. It’s a visual feast for photographers and random stops are welcome!

Itinerary
The Wheatbelt town of York has some beautiful federation buildings and is settled in a gorgeous meadowed valley. The town is also developing an interesting sculpture tradition of creating large endangered animals out of local straw.
This is an optional stop.Known for its small number of Art Deco buildings, Beverly is a drive through photo stop and will add extra time to the day.
A little country town in the middle of the Wheatbelt and home to the Guinness World record attempt for the most number of dogs in the back of utes...(Utilitys are also known as pickups). Also a stop at the Corrigin Dog Cemetry is a reminder of the importance of working farm dogs in the area.
The small wheatbelt town of Kondinin is one of a number of creative communities which has embraced the surrounding landscape and utilised the environment as a living gallery. Stops along the road highlight various works by local artists, sculptors and creative farmers.
This full day tour takes you on a genuine Aussie Roadtrip through a diverse country landscape. Agricultural towns selected for their unique community strengths, architecture and diversity. The Trip highlight is the magnificent Wave Rock feature.
Just a few minutes from Wave Rock, nestled in a landscape of massive formations is the appropriately named "Hippos Yawn". A great backdrop for photos and a curious geological wonder.
A kooky outdoor gallery of "Farm Art"...this horse themed parade of "Equestrian Eccentricity" extends over 15km to teh east and west of the little town of Kulin. A wonderful comical drive that will have you scratching your head and giggling at the same time!

What a brilliant full day. I had the most fantastic trip with Peter. Not only does he know the history and geography of the area so well he spent time understanding my expectations for the visit. We stopped at lots of interesting locations for me to take photographs, walked all over Wave Rock and visited the many sites listed in the itinerary. He is a fun chap to be with and made the day truly memorable. Thanks Copey.
Cheers Copey 👍👍👍
We had a wonderful day tour to Wave Rock with Peter, he is very knowledgeable, we learned a lot about Wave Rock, Perth and West Australia, Peter is an extremely nice person who is always ready to help others, his designer background make him good at taking lovely photos, I highly recommend him to everyone who would like to have a memorable trip
Thanks so much Tracy for your kindness. Safe travels & hope to see you all in Shanghai one day....
Be prepared for a long day in a vehicle with a fantastic payoff when you arrive at the wave rock. There is much to see and learn about this part of Australia during the drive and Peter, our guide, provided a lot of historical tidbits and interesting context wrapped up in funny anecdotes and past experiences. It was worth the drive and the Wave Rock walk was awesome.
Thank you Peter for a wonderful day visiting Wave Rock we saw everything we wanted to see and much more thanks to your extensive knowledge of the area and interesting insight. Once again thank you. Wendy & Greg
Thanks guys it was a pleasure. Safe travels & all the best. Peter
We booked a 1 day trip with Peter to Wave Rock- and what a fantastic decision that was! It is not just the destination but the journey that was memorable. Peter will hunt for the wild flowers to show us (bear in mind we are 2 weeks early and they are only starting to show), explain about the shrubs native to Western Australia and the uses, spell put the names for us (think Balga, Galah, Lechenaultia, etc). He has sharp eyes! He was considerate and was hospitable - one can really sense his passion . At Wave Rock, we had a leisurely walk around the area, not just the 50 metre rock that most people come to see, but behind and above it. He would explain about the water catchment, the grounds and why the soil color is different, he is truly knowledgeable about flora, fauna, history , construction & general knowledge; yet unassuming and calm. We had such a lovely day snd went away with nuggets of info. We just had another trip with another company; and the experience is the total opposite. I will not say more except, go with Peter from Perths Tiny Tours!
Thanks so much both of you for this beautiful, generous and kind review. It was a pleasure to take you "out bush" for the day and show you a few things. Safe travels & hope to see you again in the future.
Relaxing. Covered a lot of ground. Got everything done and more. Friendly, knowledgeable flexible host.
Thanks so much for the review guys. Was lovely to meet you both.
A very relaxing day considering the distance we had to cover. We were even able to do a couple of extras. Would definitely recommend Peter for whatever you want to do. Friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and we never felt rushed. Great day. Thanks Peterman
Thanks so much for this lovely review. Much appreciated. Safe travels
A flexible tour for everyone interesting in this part of Australia. Together with Peter we did a lot of interesting stops, such as wild flower beds and York. Wave Rock was incredible. Taken a tour with Peter and you won't be disappointed !
Thanks so much for the lovely review. So glad you enjoyed the day.
Peter was a fantastic tour host, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of Perth and WA as a whole. The tour through the Wheatbelt to Wave Rock, was a brilliant experience. Peter's ability to tailor his tours to individual taste is a big plus. I would recommend Perth Tiny Tours to everyone coming over to WA for a holiday.
Hey Andrew, Thanks for booking me. was a lot of fun for me too, great chat and a pleasure to show you around the rock and the other sites. Go the Roos!
It was a great experience to visit the big wave rocks. Especially with Peter who is an awesome reliable driver, also has lots of knowledge about the road and the little town on the way through. He makes the stories very interesting to hear, that makes your trip doesn't feel bored at all. Plus he is a great photographer. It was so good to see the wave rocks eventually, and don't forget to get on top and walk around. It has a great view. After all that I want to say is don't miss out a great tour experience with Peter. His is real good 👍
Thanks Sunny it really was a pleasure, youre most welcome.
